Do you have a Powerboost non BC? I was told on the other forum that they thought that if the truck was a non BC that only the powerboost got 2.7.2 OTA. I was wondering the exact same about 2.7.3 failing because 2.7.2 never updated.

You received 2.7.1 on 6/23, and you have no other updates in queue since then. That was only two weeks ago, so it's not surprising you haven't had another OTA pushed to your truck yet.
Thanks much rugedraw!

The other seems to only go active every so often, and can go weeks between showing up. That less active one last got on my eero on June 3rd, so over a month ago. That is about all I know.

As for the data that goes over each, that I am not sure but do know that when I got one OTA update months ago, it came across the more active MAC interface as best as I can recall. My truck had been in the OTA/program hell and spent weeks at the dealer trying to get BC working so most modules were programmed via FDRS, thus no OTAs recently.
By the name on the network listing, this active connect is going to the TCU (Telematics Control Unit). I cannot tell if the other goes to the APIM, GWM or some other undetermined module. It is hard to tell on the block diagram I have seen...

Just tell them you were having issues with it running in the snow and plowing so you unplugged it... ;-). Would be a plausible reason. Does it not throw codes on your dash running unplugged?

Then You really should have gotten the 2.7.2 update. This is from the wikipedia page on OTA's
2.7.2 February 2022
  • Fixed the brake pedal feel to allow for smoother braking[38]
  • Updated the charging curve to increase charging speed above 80%[39]
  • Minor fine tuning “here and there” to ensure things are running smoothly [38]
  • First update of several to enable BlueCruise [22]

@GTA150
The easiest way is to connect ForScan and check for this file.
The recall update for the Trailer Brake Control Module installs file ML3T-19J297-BB

Thanks for the insight I will have to look at the mac address in my truck. Like yours one is way more active than the other.

So my ‘21 job 1 truck is at rev 2.8.3 and BC is working fine. I also have received the Trailer Relay Module software update all via OTA. Now in the OTA queue there is a package identified as PowerUp ver 2.1.0 I know it’s there because I have the widget on my phone.

That looked very wrong to me so I disabled OTA updates fearing it would mess up my BC and who knows what.

Are you @Airborne_Ape saying it’s just a labeling issue and it’s OK to install the 2.1.0 “update “?
