I had not heard about needing to manually turn off the lights and set the emergency break. Do these help? I was made aware of keeping the keys well away from the truck. I’m actually up to date as of now, but if this will help with future updates, I’ll watch for any failure then make sure to do them. Thanks!

yeah I've been doing it, can't hurt anything cept I would not put the emergency brake on in winter even if it electronically controlled.

From what I can see, the APIM was properly programmed when the new one was installed. This was a week ago, so now it is a matter of time of waiting for them to start coming in. Just because you can get updates, does not mean they will start coming in right away. As far behind as you are, I would recommend you explore the FDRS route and update the truck yourself. Once you are caught up, the OTA process will keep you up to date.

rugedraw, I was getting updates for awhile, but I interrupted one I think.

When I look at “Update Details” I see that 24-PU0227-V1-RBS is “Not Completed”.

I’m at SYNC 4, Software Version: 23291 Revision 1049.

My VIN is 1FTFW1E5XPKE04781

Can you see if I’m stuck?

Thanks!

I finally posted because I am at the same SYNC 4 level as you, and rugedraw told you, “As far behind as you are, I would recommend you explore the FDRS route and update the truck yourself…”.

He may tell me the same.

i don’t recall exactly how I interrupted an update, but basically, I saw a message on my truck screen briefly while I was doing something - selecting music, etc.
I might have bypassed a prompt to agree to the update. Something like that.

Can anyone with FRDS tell me what the latest Firmware for my VIN is the the HVAC module? When I run a check with Forscan it tells me the Factory is NL3T-14C651-EB, I cannot back it up and Forscan says that firmware does not exist anywhere on Fords servers. The update Firmware is NL3T-14CC651-FA, but it is showing " the firmware is designed for another hardware". I can send PM with VIN.

Thanks

The guy that does it is not on this forum. He is on gen14f150 and it would require him logging into your computer remotely to revert the software.
