I've never been notified to do anything or that anything was done. I surmise that my truck is not involved.

I am assuming my invitation to the beta was from the early access program. I was added to the a few months back. But the FP beta might be different, I’m just not sure. It’s nothing to write home about, so don’t feel like you are missing anything worthwhile….

 

I got the message there was an update that would occur overnight. When I parked my truck I just filled it up and the DTE read 554. The following morning I got the message on Ford Pass the update was successful, and when I went to head out on a trip, the DTE now read 669. WTF. Drove a couple hundred miles and the DTE is still off. So not sure what it was supposed to do, but it totally messed up my DTE.

Most likely a PCM update which reset all the learning tables for that kinda stuff. You just gotta drive it a bit so it relearns those things.

 

Thanks, I was under the impression that the PCM was not OTA capable. Probably because the ForScan spread sheet list it as not being OTA capable.

Has anyone else noticed a rough idle after this update?

 

I’ve not had any issues as of yet post update. But I have less than 100 miles on that update (city driving only).

 

my tremor got the update Friday. 1st that I know about because it prompted me to allow it.
yesterday damn thing started up in towing mode and wouldn’t change till I restarted the truck. Been fine since but wondering if one can shut these off?
truck has been fine so if it’s not broke don’t fix it

 

According to Fordpass my truck received some kind of update last night having to do with my battery...Anyone know what that might have been?
