If you have a 22, those already came with Alexa. It's like they just did a copy/pasta on the descriptions for the updates to not have to write two. It still preps for the big APIM update with 3.5.3.

For those that had the new GWM and APIM update through FDRS, is that before, or after 2.7.4 OTA? i keep checking FDRS but dont see the updates yet.

No OTA history at all on your truck for the past 60 days. When you say your 1.7.1 issue was fixed, it was "fixed" according to whom and how long ago was that?

Never mind. I see someone with FDRS ( I assume your dealer ) performed a successful module repair on your APIM and TCU back on May 26th. Since then, I see a few people have looked at your truck with FDRS, which I am guessing it other forums members checking your truck for you. Very strange that you have gotten nothing since then.
Thank you for checking. I have speculated that Ford has been focused, rightly, on getting BlueCruise related updates pushed and ignoring non-BlueCruise trucks until that campaign is more or less complete. So I've just been patient and last thing I want to do is involve my dealer. They are not great. Maybe if I don't an update by the end of the month I'll pursue the FDRS route.
*If anybody on this thread has a non-BlueCruise 2021 Job 1 truck, I'd appreciate if you posted if you have received updates or not and what PowerUp version is installed.*

Thank you.

Then you must drive a 2022. I should have specified that. It is believed by people much smarter than me, that after 3.5.3, the 2021's and 2022's F150's will be unified when OTA's come out and it will be new stuff for both model years. 2021 owners are still trying to get to where 2022 owners have been since day one.

If they were focused on getting BC owners what they paid for, they would not have let the recall that pays dealers to do the updates for us expire. I can tell you with 100% confidence that other owners of trucks like yours have gotten updates because I have checked the status of their trucks myself. Stand by.....I sent your VIN to the guru who is going to look into your truck shortly and I will let you know what he says.

I read about this in another forum. That's in FORscan, right? Leave it as is. It doesn't matter. If you just updated to get alexa, you have to give it a day or two to activate. You'll get a notification in Ford pass. A soft or hard reset will not make a difference. Did you get alexa via OTA or FDRS?

As I thought, your truck is stuck in OTA limbo. The good news is, you don't need FDRS to get it going. @Jesse - Infotainment is going to send me some files and an email with instructions tomorrow that I'll send to you. PM me your email. Basically, you will need to insert a USB stick with update files on it into your truck's USB port under the touch screen and leave it there until the truck recognizes the updates are there and does it. It can take a week or it can take a month or maybe even longer. Several owners have had this happen and they report different time frames it takes for the update to kick off. You will need a minimum 32GB USB drive, but if you don't have one and need to get one, get a 64GB instead. His email will have clear and detailed instructions on what you have to do.

So about 100 pages ago is when I started looking into this. I had the 22B08 recall that needed to be done. I haven’t had any updates in at least a year and half. ( job 1 non blue cruise). I took it to one dealer and they just tried for maybe an hour or so to do an update and basically told me to come back later in the year and try again…everything worked perfect on my truck so I debated about getting it done since I’ve heard some stories about issues after updates.
well I decided to take it to another dealership. After 8 days of my truck sitting they finally got to it today. I’m not sure exactly what all is gonna be done but the service tech texted me today and said basically “ there’s lots of updates that need to be done and it’s gonna take more then one day to uploaded everything”. This is amazing!! Told him to take their time and get the updates and 22B08 done lol.
I’m curious if anyone can look up my vin# and see what all they did today? It’s still in the shop for this but jw what all was done today so far.
