Thanks, I checked last night and the "update now" was grayed out like always and it says "there no updates that require vehicle downtime" or something similar. Then I clicked update details but it was still blank. This morning and it showed on my update details that I have 2.6.0 installed. A few hours later I noticed the icon in the upper right corner of the display that shows "there is an update available" So I clicked on "update details" and its blank again.
I checked the meaning for the icon in the upper right corner and the owners manual states "There is an update available. This icon will only appear if Automatic Updates are turned off (Manual Setting). " I have always had Automatic Updates turned "ON" so not sure why it says that.
I'm hoping a new update is being installed or something and it's not finished installing.
Thanks again, I appreciate the info and you checking on my system!
It says all the files are downloaded, and then is says "vehicle activation" on June 30th. I don't recall seeing that before. Usually, once it downloads it will install or try to install and if it fails, it says it will try again later. I don't think I've ever seen an OTA download and then just sit there until a specific date to install when I check these for people. Curious to see what happens on the 30th.

That is the expiration date, not activation date. It means if the vehicle activation isn't done by then the OTA expires. It keeps an OTA from sitting forever unable to install for some reason without the customer knowing why.

I noticed that it's under the "Expiration Date" column, but I've never seen it worded that way before. It'll say something along the lines of "Campaign Expiration" or something; I don't remember it saying "Vehicle Activation" under that column.

You see Campaign Expired if it hit the expiration date without being applied, but that shows in the lower section (where completed updates also go). The Expiration Date is how I have always seen it, you even see it's that same way in other posts you have done on here.
The only aspect of it I don't know is why sometimes Vehicle Activation isn't... enough? A friend of mine had an F-150 and for one of the earlier updates it was at ready to install/vehicle activation, and he drove it every day, but they were short trips to drop his kid off. And it never tried to install it seemed and it eventually expired out.
I think it may have been a battery level issue, as I see on some users on here now a message saying the battery level is too low. So that may have been his issue too. They went on a long road trip later on and his update, when it was re-pushed, finally installed.

As I mentioned earlier: My memory is not my best asset. lol

Lol, it's not that at all, unfortunately we all have to kind of guess at it. There is a job aid, and there is a section of the job aid that describes every column!... except the Expiration Date one is missing. And the Release Notes description says something like "Later addition", so the Job Aid hasn't been updated in a while. I was hoping it would solve all our questions.
Can someone please check my VIN 1FTFW1E89MFA22367? I did a master reset last week, trickle charger, new battery, and still nothing. Earlier this week a notice popped up on FordPass App for an update but, when I check in the vehicle it shows no update pending.
I have to imagine they are just prioritizing getting BlueCruise out to those of us that have been waiting since 3rd quarter 2021. Not sure it's "lucky" to have paid for a feature that we haven't been able to use for almost a year longer than originally promised. While I probably will end up buying this truck as it is, for me, perfect, if I had kept to my 2 year lease, I don't even have a year left in the lease to enjoy my "Free" year of BlueCruise.
I am not really mad at Ford, everything they have tried to do here is difficult and it's all one on top of the other, and they seem to be improving the pace and stability of OTA updates. I knew being an early adopter, as far as Ford goes, on a lot of this stuff was uncertain.
But I imagine non-BC trucks will start seeing more OTA love again. I also suspect that most recall relates OTA updates will remain a priority also regardless of vehicle.
I have a non BC truck. I wouldn't mind a little OTA love.
