Stupid question but do you see BlueCruise on my VIN? I was under the assumption my truck was it equipped for BlueCruise. Also can you comment a little further on paying out of pocket? Thanks!

Wonder if lesser spec trucks get the updates before the more complex vehicles with higher trim and Powerboost that need more software code to work.

I just realized you have an XLT. BlueCruise is not an option on your truck. You have Co-Pilot Assist, but you need Co-Pilot Active for BlueCruise which is only an option an Lariat trims and up.

The out-of-pocket would not apply to you. Owners of early Job 1 2021 F150's that came BlueCruise capable have a "recall" tied to their VIN that allows Ford dealerships to bill Ford for the labor hours required to program the modules needed for BC to work, and that recall expires September 30th. So any job 1 truck owners that have not gotten the BC update via OTA need to schedule an appt with their dealer before then to get it done. Otherwise, the campaign will expire and the dealership isn't going to work for free, so the vehicle owner would have to pay the labor hours to their dealer out-of-pocket to get the BC installed on their truck.

They were going to perform the two programs, the ECM and Tailgate customer bulletins. They initially said it was going good, yesterday they said that the "last" update was taking forever but that they would get it done by COB. Late in the day they called and said they thought it was a voltage regulation problem affecting the APIM and would install a new battery but that meant they would do have to do the updates all over again? They said it didn't need a new APIM?
The couldn't promise it for today but did offer a rental.
Can someone please run the VIN and let me know whats been going on for the four days?

Hi, I got the truck back after a week and the dealer told me both programs were complete. 2 days later the truck downloads and installs 2.1.1! Wasn't 22M08 supposed to get me to 2.8.3 and Blue Cruise? Note that they did "something" as auto updates will now stay selected and 2.1.1 is the first update I have ever received ( bought the truck in August 2021)!
Should I go back to the dealer? Please run my VIN and let me know how many updates I'm waiting for to auto-push?

No, the FSA for Bluecruise is 21G01 which your truck does not have tied to its VIN.

I see you got 2.1 on 8/1 and 2.1.1 the next day. It also shows that 2.6.0 failed on 8/3 and it says it was canceled? Go to your settings. You should be able to install it. All the files are downloaded.

My truck seems to be stuck at OTA 2.7.3 The dealer successfully performed CSP 22B08 on 14 June. It got the first OTA to 2.1.0 on the 15th. It continued getting updates until the 27th to 2.7.1. On the 30th I got 2 OTA failure msg's about an hour apart on Fordpass saying 2.7.3 failed. I was told by people in this forum that the Ford FDRS said the same, 2.7.3 failure with no reason. My truck's Sync screen shows it was successful. Since then it has had no OTA DL attempts at all. Is it stuck since the truck shows it has 2.7.3 but the ford system says it doesn't? Any help would be appreciated. My VIN is 1FTFW1ED5MFC06184.

Your truck and mine are having the EXACT same issue. I had 2.7.3 supposedly fail on 6/21 even through my truck says it's on 2.7.3 and I have had not more OTA's since then. Yours tried to install 2.7.3 once and failed, mine tried to install 2.7.3 three times and failed all three. Again: It didn't actually fail, the truck just thinks it did. It tried to install an update it already has. I've tried resetting the APIM, disconnecting the battery 15 minutes for a hard reset, and nothing, so good luck. getting past where you are now. If you figure something out, let me know, because I've been stuck here for 5-6 weeks now.

I'm surprised to see your truck doesn't have the 21G01 FSA for BlueCruise programming. You do have a job 1 truck. I have the FSA on mine, so I'm waiting a bit more to see if the OTA happens and if not, I will get an appt with the dealer before September 30th which is when the FSA campaign expires.

I don't have BC, it's not worth it here in Colorado.

My truck thinks 2.7.3 was successful, Ford says it wasn't. I have tried the battery disconnect trick, soft SYNC reset, running a battery tender and not running the tender. I have a good dealer who fixed the 1.7.1 problem in a couple hours. The next time I go in for an oil change I'll see what they have to say about it.

I am in the same boat. I had the 22B08 Program update done on 7/12. Over the next couple of days I got 2.1.0, then 2.1.1. Then nothing.

Your OTA for 2.6 expired today. You gotta wait for them to push it out to you again to retry.
