I just got my APIM replaced and it says that sync is up to date but I want to make sure. Can someone look it up for me?

Thanks!

I had four separate OTA updates in less than 1 week since I reset my GWM, TCU, APIM (with ForScan) and master reset Sync 4.

My truck stopped reporting connected vehicle data to PTS after OTA 2.3.0 until I went out and kicked it / force reset several suspected modules.

This is possibly just a coincidence, but I've had the same level of success with other vehicles recently.

One thing to keep in mind is owners in the States are likely on a different update schedule than Canadian owners for a variety of regulatory reasons.

It appears you have the Bluecruise update outstanding. I have not checked FRDS but I can assume you have software updates available that can be installed manually based on that info.

I have to imagine they are just prioritizing getting BlueCruise out to those of us that have been waiting since 3rd quarter 2021. Not sure it's "lucky" to have paid for a feature that we haven't been able to use for almost a year longer than originally promised. While I probably will end up buying this truck as it is, for me, perfect, if I had kept to my 2 year lease, I don't even have a year left in the lease to enjoy my "Free" year of BlueCruise.

I am not really mad at Ford, everything they have tried to do here is difficult and it's all one on top of the other, and they seem to be improving the pace and stability of OTA updates. I knew being an early adopter, as far as Ford goes, on a lot of this stuff was uncertain.

But I imagine non-BC trucks will start seeing more OTA love again. I also suspect that most recall relates OTA updates will remain a priority also regardless of vehicle.

I recently had someone here run my vin and they gave me a full list of updates required. I took my truck in for the Trailer Brake recall and reviewed the list with my service advisor.
After returning to pickup my truck, recall completed, oil change done we went over the update issue. He told me that they believed Ford would offer a fix for the failure to update at some point. The dealership recently spent 3 days trying to update another vehicle for Bluecruise. They were successful but only after multiple tries to get it to take. He told me that Ford Tech support told them to just keep running the update until it takes. As I said, 3 days later it took.
With this in mind he told me that he recommended waiting, my truck runs fine and basically why mess with it? He told me I could end up like the other vehicle owner and be out of my vehicle for days if one of the updates fails to load completely.
My truck was built on 8/18/2021, I have never had an OTA update and never seen a completed or failed message on the screen or in my app. Ford is aware of this as they can seen the lack of updates in my service profile.
I wonder if this will ever be worked out?

I am confused on your truck being built in August but not having BlueCruise. I feel like BC trucks were rolling by that point. I know Job 2 got pushed back a bit but I don't think it was that far. Maybe it was.

I think your dealer is right to have you wait instead of them keeping the truck. My dealer told me the same thing, that the last truck they tried to do took a lot of hours to update. I imagine part of it is the dealer doesn't like having a bay being held by a truck they have to just leave there while it keeps trying to update when they could be helping customers with actually impacting issues. Thankfully as of yesterday I got the last update needed for BC, just waiting for the trial to activate. I suspect that as long as your truck has the BlueCruise hardware added you should start seeing updates any time now. I imagine Ford is working through those that have been waiting the longest. My truck was built at the end of April 2021, and it seems a lot of April/May owners have been reporting updates recently.

My truck has a late August blend date and I don't have BlueCruise yet. I've seen many opinions of Job 1 vs Job 2. Any thoughts on what this is?

I thought I was on the roll to get the OTA's and BlueCruise, getting them every 3-4 days. Now it has been 2 weeks without one. Last one was 2.7.4.

Could someone check my VIN to see if I'm hung up, or should just wait it out. Thanks in advance!
