Software Updates
Just got my truck back from Ford and had couple recalls performed, including TSB 22B08. Said they had trouble with the APIM taking the update.
I would sure appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to run my VIN and let me compare with what I had in January. 1FTFW1E80MFA2878
Thanks in advance!

I know I wont get Blue Cruise but the one this I am missing until the updates go through is the ability to have the hitch and bed camera on while driving at highway speeds. I tow a camper alot and believe it or not, the ability to have this did factor into my decision to buy the truck in the first place. Only Job 1 2021 trucks shut the cameras off at above 6mph. Job2 builds and those that are able to get OTAs do not have this problem. Also my radio presets and gauge cluster customizations and audio (bass, treble) settings revert to default every time I power cycle the truck which really gets annoying especially when its basically a brand new $60k truck and those things just shouldn't happen on a new truck that expensive.

Haha. I will keep that in mind if I ever get mine fixed. Its still at the dealer today and it looks like they must be working on it for a 2nd day because my app says the doors are unlocked and the battery is showing 13 volts. Would you be able to quick run my VIN so i can see if any progress has been made? 1FTFW1E89MFB00484 Thanks.
I don't know often I would use it, tbh. Maybe to see how close I am to the water when I'm backing the boat up....idk. I can manage just fine without it. I would benefit more from having the big Dumbo-ear tow mirrors. I miss those from my 2015.
It doesn't show anything for today other than me looking it up just now. No data received from the vehicle into PTS.

Module Update Repair 12:01:49 PM This procedure will repair the APIM and TCU databases. It will not program any software or perform any software updates. You will need special USB and Ethernet cables and adapters. It also requires you have Administrative rights to the PC. Note: Running this application repeatedly on the same VIN will cause the backend system to lockout the VIN and prevent obtaining necessary data required to repair the SYNC and TCU on the vehicle. Do you wish to continue? Button Pressed : Yes
Module Update Repair 12:12:38 PM The Module Update Repair procedure was successful! Perform any software updates on the TCU and APIM as required. Button Pressed : OK
So whatever this was, it went through. After this, they tried to update the APIM three times with no success.
I had my truck in the dealer for an oil change and recalls a few weeks ago. I was driving myself crazy checking to see what they were doing every hour. They never even tried to update my APIM or anything other than the recalls even though I have the FSA for bluecruise programming on my truck and I was asking them to do it. Got my truck back without the latest updates and gladly surrendered that horrible Tacoma they gave me while my truck was there. Just like @Borchelt mentioned earlier today, the OTA's started coming in frequently as soon as I picked it up from the store. If they can't get it done, hopefully you still start getting OTA's naturally like a few of us. It seems like once the dealer connects to the truck and does network tests on it, it wakes something up in them where the updates start coming in. I've been following this thread for a while and this has occurred with several members on here.

No updates.....correct. The did "repair" a module before the three times the APIM update failed. See the notes below:
