My truck downloaded BC OTA and it still took my dealers service department over a week to program my replacement APIM. Took multiple calls to technical support to get it to work.
Tech finally got it to work by disconnecting the battery under the rear seat.
I received a notification in Ford Pass that I received another update on the 28th. This one for power-up 2.7.1 however when I look at the version in my truck it sill shows' 2.6.0 which I received the week before. Also the version and build of sync didn't change and still shows 22087_PRODUCT Revision: 415. I reset the APIM several times with the power button / fast forward button method and then today I reset it with Forscan with the same results. Anyone know if this is normal or should sync be showing 2.7.1 under update details? I'm concerned the update actually failed although Ford Pass shows it was successful.
On a side note the persistent APIM checksum failure DTC I had is now gone after the 2.6.0 upgrade.

According to OASIS you got 2.7.1 on May 28th, and it shows all steps successful. It was a small update and only to the GWM, not sure if they all will show something on Sync 4. I just checked and as of an hour ago my truck got the trigger for 2.7.1, so once mine updates I will report back if Sync 4 shows it.

I got my truck last October but haven't got any updates yet. Is it normal?
Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this software update concern. Thanks!
My 2.7.1 doesn't show anything but the 2.6 when I check in Sync 4 for patch notes. I suspect it's because it was just a small one based on the master patch notes doc it doesn't have a typical entry.

It appears to be the new Ford normal. Just wait until all the Lightning are on the same system - begging for system updates. Ford will likely need to downgrade the other F150's in the queue to try and make sure the Lightning look good by being updated regularly.
It took Ford 14 months to get my truck order to the dealership here in Canada and now after 5 months not a single update has been received to my Powerboost. @Ford Motor Co. want to run a Canadian one?
Let me know and I will PM you. One of the many helpful US members ran it and saw nothing in the system pending. Currently stuck where it was when it left Dearborn - sync 4 software is version 21223_PRODUCT.

They seem to be going in batches, my truck was built in late April 2021 and I got a couple updates in November, but you would have already had those on your truck as it looks like it was released in November. I didn't receive any besides that until early last month. So yours will be coming and the frequency will improve once they get everyone caught up. Since starting to receive mine I have received the next one 3-5 days later. Just the unfortunate reality of Ford getting used to the new method of deployment and the speed bumps along the way. Tesla and others have had them too early on.
