I took my truck into dealer for the BC activation and they made it past the IPMA update and are now stuck on an APIM update. When the truck asks to be restarted, we shut it off, wait 10 min for all lights to go out, turn it back on and the same screen comes up asking to restart vehicle. Previous APIM updates have been successful. Any ideas what the problem could be? VIN 1FTFW1ED3MFA93822

You caught right before I left the office for vacation until next week. lol Your truck was updated to 2.1.0 in April, and no pending OTA's are showing at the moment. The only open recall it shows is for the bluecruise programming.

My advice, make sure they have the truck on the battery charger/power supply. Others that had similar issues like that had low battery voltage if I remember correctly. Is also suggest waiting longer than just 10 min, go like 20-30 min with the key far away.

Truck is connected to power supply and we have waited 30 min with key far away. Still same issue, tried at least 5 times so far.

My truck downloaded BC OTA and it still took my dealers service department over a week to program my replacement APIM. Took multiple calls to technical support to get it to work.

Would someone please run my VIN for SW updates available through FDRS, and to show whether there is an OTA update pending? I made two dealer visits in late April/early May, reportedly resulting in several module updates and both the APIM and TCU being "unlocked up", then OTA's resumed after several months, inc. 2.7.4 and 2.8.1. Been sitting at 2.8.1 for three full business days and am wondering whether there's been an OTA failure. Built in Dearborn on 2/25/2021. Thanks in advance.

For anyone who has been through all their module updates, a tip: double check your rain sensing and "courtesy wipe" (I chuckle every time I read that) wiper settings. Mine was reset to "off" in the process.

All of those things still work, my adaptive cruise and auto speed limit adjust, but it isn't present in any form under Driver Assistance now. I am afraid to hit the "Adaptive Cruise" option in case it sets it then I lose auto speed limit read completely.

I have seen other variations of the Driver Assist screen people have posted, where the speed reading was in a different spot. i have checked all over and it's just, gone, but for now is at least still working. I know it was there as of a week ago up to when I got 2.6 yesterday at least.
I had not noticed that menu symptom at the 2.6 stage, although I may have gone straight from 2.1.1, where I seem to have been stuck for about 4 months, to 2.7.3 and beyond after the dealer got my "APIM and TCU unlocked-up" on May 3 (unclear from the service ticket exactly what steps were taken to accomplish that). I did receive 2.8.2 today, and I noticed minutes ago that the Cruise Control and Speed Limit Sign/Recognition/Read/Adjust(/whatever they're now calling it) all appear in the menus as expected.

Yep, thank you very much! When I acknowledged receipt of 2.8.2 in the truck this afternoon, I noticed that what you said above was the case.
