^oh you're good. i was just asking about today. i had dropped it off at dealer this morning. the other day it was a ford rep on chat looking at it and creating a case number. i got a door open notification a little bit ago, so hopefully they are pounding it out as we speak. i just fear the worse. the longer its there, the higher chance of something going wrong. should be pretty easy to solve out the recall and CSPs. i did the TRM and 1.7 freeze myself, so they should only have to acknowledge she is up to date, not do much actual updating. i had just hoped they could get er done quick. but i realize i was silly to think they'd be quick about it. case in point "should be done in 2 hours" turns into sitting there untouched for 4+ hours.

 

just got the call it's done. hopefully see these 3 recall alerts disappear soon.

 

I wouldn't count on it. I had three recalls done weeks ago and only one came off of my vehicle in PTS/Oasis software. Even then, it didn't come off of my VIN right away. It took weeks for the one that did come off to come off.

 

^fun. i don't have any reason to believe this is actually the case, but in the back on my mind i wondered if not having that module recovery resolved would make for any future OTA issues. they said they did it, so we shall see.

 

Could someone see what the status is with my software updates? A few days ago it showed "update successful" but the "update details page" page is blank. The last known version I had was 2.3.0 and that was installed in Feb. 2022.

Usually my "navigation version" and "About Sync" version gets a new number after every successful software update but not this past update a few days ago, which makes me think something didn't go correctly.

^mine did something similar. got the update from 2.3 to 2.6, then a couple days later got the update to 2.7.1, but it still shows 2.6.0 as the current version. the app notifications are blank too. but i can confirm at one point i did see a 2.7.1.

 

Well as I hoped 2.8.2 came today. Should mean another Bluecruise capable truck through OTA, glad to finally have it.

 

were you watching the individual files download to your truck, or how was it that you came to expect the push today? what is your science? compared to other guys getting 2.8.1 and then 3 days later the next, or..?

 

All of my updates so far have come at 3-4 business day intervals. Since I got 2.8.1 on Monday I expected to get 2.8.2 today or tomorrow. I started my run of OTA updates on May 12th and with few exceptions got an update every 3-4 business days.

 

You have 2.6 downloaded and ready to install. Go to your setting, software updates, and click update now. If update now is grayed out, try clicking update details and see if it triggers anything. Vehicle does not need to be inhibited for this update.
