Got my 5100's in and installed on the front. Put them at the third clip position which should be 1.05 inches of lift according to Bilstein, but it actually yeilded a 1 and 3/8" lift to the front end. Worked out and looks about exacly as I was hoping for, and the ride improvement is every bit as good as I expected for the limited paved driving I've done so far.
I installed 5100's on the rear last weekend, and otherwise stock in the rear. Figuring I have around 300 pounds of stuff on the back axle with topper, bed liner, chain, axe, shovel, water jug and some other random stuff in the back, so it's close to level. I forgot to measure the rear when I had it on flat pavement, and will update when I do so. Tires are 275/70/18 Cooper Rugged Treks with abou 14/32" of tread on them.
(Edit/update) I measured the rear today 4/4, and it's sitting 3/16" higher than the front, still a little rake which is what I wanted. Also had it in the mountains and on some dirt roads yesterday, and it handles so much better now. Less body roll in curves and doesn't get bucked around on rough dirt roads.
Does anyone know off hand what the torque spec is for the bolt that holds the top hat on the shock absorber? Getting ready to install my 5100’s up front and can’t seem to find that info.

Don't know what truck you have, but on my 2020 4X4, it's 41#.
Hi, I am new here to the F150 Forum. I just purchased a 2018 F150 Lariat 3.5L V6 with the 10 speed transmission. 20" tires
Purposes for the truck - hauling our 1/2 ton Cougar RV, hunting and our daily driver.
First thing I was planning to do was level the truck up as there is a 2.75" difference from back to front then I started looking for suspension upgrades and that led to possible bigger tires.
My desire, to which I am looking for your suggestions, is to raise my truck where it will be higher and level, give my suspension more stability for the RV towing and make the trucks appearance more aggressive. I may decide to add the fender flairs depending on the size tires I eventually settle on. As of this moment I am not sure of the height I want or the tire size. Tried and true advice and pictures would be greatly appreciated as the internet is all over the place with suggestions
When you hook up your TT, it will lower the back of the truck, work out by how much, then don't lift the front any more than the difference that's left.
