my thoughts too.

I want to yank that block out of there and put a spring lift into the rear to adjust for the block and add 2” for a level enough so I can clear 33/10.50R18 tires.

Block, new spring, whatever I just don’t understand all the trucks I see driving around *** dragging hooked to any type of trailer. I understand wanting to raise the front, but dammit….raise the back too. Just looks dumb and loses all functionality of a truck.

Confused. I've been wanting to "level" my front end but still have a tiny rake.

We tow occasionally.

So from what I understand, if I put say a 1.5-2" spacer on front and tow....I will have crazy sag? Which then needs newer.blocks...which then raises the rear...which puts me back at square one?

Depends what your reason for raising the front is, do you want it to look level, or do you want the ride height increased? What 'sag' do you get currently when you tow? it's literally a differencing thing.

More for looks. I'm.not changing tire size.

Can't remember sag loss.

Maybe I just leave it.

I don't think this is something anyone should do without knowing the figures.

The simplest and least radical would be to add longer shackles to the rear springs. A 2" longer shackle will drop the rear 1".

I only towed a trailer 2wice last yr.
So, for 363 days my truck looked the way I want it ...... Level.
And for two days I had a slight squat.
I have only pulled the smaller trailer; we also have a car hauler and that loaded might require some air bags.
Pic of my truck with the Camaro's new quarter panels, inner fenders, doors, 3 hoods , interior, and 396 Engine in the bed and trailer.
My extended cab had boxes of parts on the floor with an extra windshield on top of them.
Not a bad squat, about 1.5 inches. (Sorry about the pic was actually of the Camaro.)

1969 Camaro supercharged 383 stroker, 4-spd. mini tubbed.
It's originally a RS/SS 396 4sp. X-22
We are restoring it back to stock, and eventually will be selling the supercharged 383 stroker.
A buddy bought it, and I helped go pick it up.
It will be coming here soon to have the stock dash put back in and wired up.
Once it's running and driving we will have a little fun terrorizing the neighborhood. lol
Has old slicks and front runners on it, and not exactly street legal.
So it won't see any real roads or speed, but there is a cool car show 2 miles down the road we might drive it to.

Ah what the heck, a couple more pics of the Camaro.

↑ New rear quarters, front inner fenders, front bumper, and back seat.

↑ 396 block ( heads and rotating assy. in the trunk of the car), stock front suspension, 2 extra drive shafts, 3 hoods, and two new doors.

↑ Zero rust but a bunch of holes from the fuel cell, the roll cage, and trunk mounted battery.
And a damn on/off switch ! Doh

↑ Brand new cowl hood.

The night we got it home, sitting waiting on a title.
Was last registered out of state in 1985 when it was caged and turned it into a race car.
Everything cleared, just waiting on the weather to break to bring it here.

If I towed more I would invest in an air bag system to level the truck when towing.
If I start pulling the car hauler I will definitely get them.

@Phil48315 Nice! I love that stance! I'd keep the wheel/tire setup (with street-legal "slicks" of course) and put the OE 396 in. Perfect!
