The Leveling Kit Thread
There is someone on here who started with the 6112's and swapped to the Fox's. He gave some reasons in the post, but for the life of me I cannot find it now or remember who it was.

Love this truck, if you got the raptor headlights with black housing it would be even more killer. You nailed it!
I installed the Halo Lifts newer Aluma coilovers and rear shocks. After emailing with Shaun at Halo Lifts and asking another forum member I learned that these are being make by Elka suspension. The Aluma version are a linear shock and were described as the next evolution of their shocks. They are adjustable from 1-3" of lift and I asked Halo Lifts to set them at 1.5" which they did. The coilovers and rear shocks look great and the aluminum should resist corrosion better than steel bodies.
I installed everything myself and it went pretty smoothly. I ended up with just over 2" of lift in the front, this has my truck sitting about 1/2" lower in the front. I want to keep at least an inch of rake for when I hook up a trailer so I will probably swap the stock block for a 2" block since I like how the front end is sitting. I've only driven on the road so far but the ride felt great. I've read a lot of reviews for various coil overs where people mention a stiffer ride and so far I don't feel like that is the case with these, which is good. I was able to compare how hard the stock rear shocks compressed against the Halos and the Halos felt a fair amount stiffer. So far I have no complaints with the Halo Aluma kit.
And a pic of my truck with the Halo Lift kit on stock 275/55/20 tires
Before leveled
After leveled
I have the Fox 2.0 on my truck. The front coil overs come 2” over stock. I actually measured from the top of the wheel well to the center cap and I was about 24 1/2 inches all around.
And already got passenger front trashed and bent.... by a crazy woman in a Honda civic who thought proper merge edicate is to put your turn in, then ram the bug truck in the lane you want on eastbound i64 near 256 Newport news today. She managed to mainly ram my right front tire which seemed to spin her out in front of me at 65moh then continue with 360's to my left until she smashed into the 256 bridge embankment...
my +1 wheels don't stick out much but evidently enough to take most of the impact.
I'm guessing the civic is totaled. I will need rf fender and bumper repair, bull bumper replaced and obviously a new rim and tire. That assumes when I have it checked I don't have front end issues... was driving odd, vibration and pulling where it was not prior to impact. Pretty sure ri. Is slightly bent. Tire still holds air but with all sidewall scuffing I'm not taking chance...
She hot lucky and was sent home from hospital okay.
I'm amazed no other vehicles got involved in it and glad no one seriously injured.
I guess now I'll have a full sized matching spare albeit bent and scuffed up but a spare it will be.
also, for height question about fox 2.0. i have fox 2.5 i am at stock 2.0 but need to raise to try and get rid of rubbing at full lock in reverse. I thought i had read somewhere when i purchased these that they can go to 2.75... i wont go that far but can figure out how high they can go when i do adjust them, i think 1 notch up is 1/8 inch (have to verify) but then see how many notches are left after my adjustment and that should be height answer.

I’m at 40 1/4 on all 4 corners. I had 2 1/4 rake before the level, so I got 2 1/4 out of the Roush (fox 2.0) kit.
