What I mean is that for a true-level, NO RAKE, some say 2" spacer, some say 2.25", some say 2.5" with 1" block, some say 2.5" with no block. Not to even mention the varying measurements from the Bilstein or Rancho quick-lift options. You think this is due to variables like, slope of ground measures on? tire size difference? I am looking for a 100% dead-level, NO RAKE set up and am totally confused now... Any help?

Thanks in advance.
I believe the engine, cab configuration and trim level determine weight.
So a 2" level would be different because the different weight.

I have a 16 Scab 5.0 FX4 and a 2.25" left about an 1 1/4" of rake still, I pit 275/70/18 BFG ATs on it (33")

Yes. all the above. every truck is slightly different from the factory and add in that it has been used differently, the suspension will respond differently when you put on a leveling puck or new struts etc. only one way to really know for 100% certainty how your truck will look (level, slight rake, etc) and that is to put on what you think will work for the setup you want and then measure up. if its not exactly what you want, adjust the set up.

I was hoping for .5" rake. went with bil 5100 at 1.75" and its pretty close, close enough for me, prob closer to 1"+ of rake.. L-R dont match EXACTLY either but im talking 1/16"

hope you get it setup the way you want the first time. do overs arent fun, or cheap if your paying.

Measure your truck, and see what it will take. Seems each truck is slightly different, so really, no one can give you the answer. I suspect some, like mine, aren't totally level. I started out with 3" of rake, and now have 3/4"-1". I was always gonna have some left unless I somehow got to a 3" rise in the front, and I wasn't gonna go that much.

Thanks. I will measure and just tailor fit for my exact difference. Appreciate the feedback.

Default 2016 Lariat FX4 Leveled

Just got around to posting a couple pics of my truck that I leveled last week - Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners, coilover adjustable fronts, Nitto Ridge Grapplers LT285/55/R20. Was torn with all of the options out there, but really happy with the ride, no rubbing at all, feel like it turned out well... on to the next mod...

The lift/level looks good, doc, but your truck has the worst case of front bumper "frown" I've ever seen. Was it built that way? or has it been repaired since a minor accident?

If the truck has never been hit, go to Harbor Freight and purchase some Body Panel Shims. Drop a few behind each upper bumper mount and you can have that bumper squared up in no time.

Yeah it’s weird I feel like in these photos it looks like that but in person it looks fine. The black little trim piece between the bumper and top (the bottom of the headlight) there is a black plastic piece. So it’s kinda deceiving when you look at it from this angle. Has never been in a accident or anything.
