Hey man! Many thanks from Austin, TX! I am glad you started that post. Just wondering thou, arent the crash bars mirror images of each other? How would swapping them, right to left and left to right, make more room? I am going down your path and I want to follow what you did. Getting my leveling kit tomorrow. Then buying bigger tires would be next. Thanks in advance, bro!

I'm planning on a +1 offset wheel to clear the new uniball upper control arms. But i'm swapping the front crash bars, the fronts definitely seem closer than the rears at full lock.

First of all, hope you and your people are safe after Harvey. Second, just how close are you to the front and rear bars at full lock with that setup? I'm doing the 2.75" coilovers with 18x9s and 34/12.50s and you're giving me hope that it will work.

Hey bro question, our set up is quite similar and was wondering did you replace the rear shocks or are you running your setup on stock ?

Yea that's what they said as well as far as the crash bars but for now I'm just gonna go ahead and remove them, and yes installing on factory suspension just throwing a 2.5" leveling kit, I was gonna add a higher lift and new suspension but my last truck has a 6" lift with 35s and didn't want to go that same route this time. I only want a2.5-3" lift and since a 2.5 will level my truck I've decide to just save some money and head that route.

Finally a truck with the exact setup I'm having installed next Wednesday, I'm getting the method nv17s and 35" ko2s, might get a 2.5 leveling kit not too sure but yea, having it done at desolate Motorsports and they said I would have to remove the crash bars to keep from rubbing but after all the research I've seen it's not a big deal, nice truck man I'll post soon after mines done

Hey - Saw your great post about crash bars. The shop I took my truck to for a lift cut mine. Where did you buy your replacement crash bars and do you recall the part #'s?

    Thanks!

I saw your build, looks great, I saw you had the blue ford emblems. I did too but recently Plasti-diped them, it was quick easy and painless, I was hesitant because plasti dip gets so much hate but honestly the look really looks so much better. Just thought it may be a super cheap mod. But, with those painting skills you may just want to paint your emblems a bit nicer. Here is a quick shot of mine.
