Whenever anyone on the internet exclaims, "Wall-O-Text", it is usually a humorous request to, "Please break up your posts so we can breathe."

Truck looks great! and we're glad to hear you're happy with the Bilstein investment. I swear by them!

Default 2016 F150 leveling?

Hi I have a 2016 F150 lariat 4x4 supercrew 3.5 with the 6.5 box. I am thinking about getting a leveling kit, but am restricted as my garage sits 82” so definitely want it below 80”.
I am thinking about BFG k02 or nitto grappler, preferably on my stock sport 18” rims
I stopped at the dealership, he told me I could fit 2.5” front and 1.5” in the back, and use 31” tires. Does that sound right? I thought the 275 65 R18 tires are bigger than that? Thanks for the input!!

275/65r18s are just above 32 inch. A conservative increase is a 33” tire. It’s really only .6 of an inch taller based on inflated diameter on spec sheets. Most 33”s are 32.7”.

Finally got around to measuring my rake today. Im seeing 21.5" in the front and 24" in the back. I think ive accepted the fact im not going to be able to shove 35's under my truck so i was hoping to get some advice and suggestions on the best way to get 34's under there. Its a 2019 w/ 20" OEM rims and i dont want to have to do any cutting. As far as leveling goes, ive narrowed it down to either the bilsteins or a 2.25" set of pucks. What say you guys?

I seen your truck earlier when trying to figure what i want to do. Its a damn fine looking truck and those rims are sharp as ****. How long have you had the bds kit and tires on? I dont do any offroading, im just doing it it purely for the looks so im not real worried about ball joint issues and such since the general consensus seems to be that those issues are more pronounced if you are offroad alot.

I would not proclaim myself as an expert or even someone who should be giving my say.
however based on what I’ve read it can be an issue when articulating at both extremes. But the bds claims its preload spacer in addition to the puck helps minimize the issue. That being said I have seen what looks to be a higher lift net from the ready lift 2.25. And it’s going to be cheaper to install because they won’t have to disassemble the strut.

Those 35's won't work nearly as well on aftermarket wheels. The sucked-in stock wheels allow the clearance.
