I now have a 2015 5.0 XLT and I'm looking to install a 2.5 inch level kit on it.
I'm hearing mixed opinions like: over 2 inch, things might break or that I have to get a kit with rear blocks, etc...
What is the proper way to go without issues? Which previous year kits fit the new model? I have 33 inch tires with 18's I want to put on it.
What setup are you guys running (leveling kits only please) ?
Thanks in advance and pointers will be appreciated.
I tried spacers on my 2011 and was not happy with the ride.
I use Bilstein 5100 shocks on the front. Better ride AND lift! Win/win. They have an adjustable snap ring (4 heights to choose from). Stock up, 1", 2" or 2.5". I use the 2nd to highest setting to allow for a little rake in case I put a load in the bed. Makes for an amazing ride and lifts at the same time. Just remember to get an alignment afterward.
I just bought my new 2020 last Friday and the first thing I did was to put new Bilsteins on it. I even swapped my Goodyear Duratracs from my 2011.
Best of luck to you!

Got the mammoth 1.5" wheel spacers on. Got these for a great deal from American Truck. Seem really well built. Normally 160 a set but they were open box and got them for half price. They have never been installed. Put some loctite on them and zipped them up so we shall see. I know everyone recommends bora and I will get some one day. May go down to some 1" but we will see how these work.
Purchased a new 2019 F-150 SCrew 4x4 about two weeks ago. Got the 5.0 motor. I went ahead and did a pro comp 2.5” level kit and added some 20x9 Fuel wheels with Toyo 305/55/20 tires. I love how it came out. Got some window tint today as well so I added that pic too!
Before! After! Plus 5% tint on all windows except windshield After with adding windshield tint 30%. Looks dark from outside but it’s nice on the inside!
