Initial impressions:

Sync 3 awesome
3.5 eb engine awesome
Massaging seats love them
Seat comfort, took 20 min to adjust everything from lumbar to foot pedals but insanely comfortable
Navigation search was awesome, fast and seems to find all addresses even if you abbreviate every thing, etc
Couple snags

Heat on seats not the greatest, looked under seat and I definitely had the snorkel tsb applied
Seems like they cut the sd card slot in center console, only 2 USB ports, would have liked to use it for music
Passenger side rear seat belt is jammed. Needs to be warranty replaced

Have not tried cooling seats as its been below 30F here in Montana.

Most this are subjective, but I came from a 2011 bmw m3 to 2 door Jeep Wrangler to this. Surprised how lux platinum is to the m3. Not quite as much soft touch in the interior but damn close. Really loving it so far but can't wait to see if that changes in a month or 6 months. Never owned a ford unsure of how long the quality will last

He was so puzzled that my invoice list was different than his.. HA! So they made it right-- got $2500 in rebates and less my $500 deposit.
THEN he tried to sell me the warranty. I pulled up Lombard and told them that what I could get it for online plus Lombard had a black Friday deal that I emailed about and Lombard had said that since I emailed they would honor it because I couldn't buy until my truck was delivered-- so got 7 years, 125k miles for $2230. He did suggest the tire warranty and hubby bit-- $455 for 7 years.

Then they BEAT my credit union financing. Capital One.

Not sure HOW they made money. All he kept saying about the deal was "boy, someone screwed up" but he wanted to make it all right.

I'm a happy girl!!!

Salesperson had GM call me to say they tried everything but Ford would not honor, I stated OK I was going to walk away. He called back 10 minutes later that they got it figured out! Should pick up tomorrow, Friday at latest. Been a helluva 3 month roller coaster.

Hang in there rest of 10/26-27 Club, they seem to be rolling in now from all indications here.

So far no real issues. Door jams are fully painted, roof seams are nice and smooth, no unusual noises or moonroof issues. Heated seats are a bit slow to warm and will probably have them turn heated steering wheel up in IDS during 1K oil change. Sync 3 is MUCH better than MFT in wife's Edge. In nearly 3 years I have never used MFT voice recognition as it was crap. 3 has been flawless so far with every command.

3,000 mile, 2 week road trip coming up in a few weeks so will get to put it thru its paces then. No doubt will have it's own "nuances" but hopefully nothing to get too worked up over.

Hey gang,

I'm getting caught up on my reading, and I wanted to congratulate all my new Ford Fam members on their rigs! Seeing all these beautiful new trucks helps me visualize what I've been conversing with each one of you about over the past couple of months while helping you track your orders. This is truly one of the biggest perks about what I do, and I look forward to working with a new crop of proud owners who are now anxiously awaiting their trucks just as you were.

Now that you're officially part of the family, be sure to browse Ford Owner for tons of helpful information and advice about the newest additions to your garage: http://owner.ford.com/ And, as always, feel free to drop me a line about any questions or concerns you might have. You know where to find me.

Chad
Why did all of the people have to wait months for their trucks.
Further, why didn't Ford provide clear and concise reasons?

Got an update from my dealer and from Chad that my truck is in transit. Dealer thinks delivery likely next week. Chad thinks first week in January. Regardless it's headed my way now, finally!!!!!

So after the long 10/26 club agony I ended up buying another truck at a dealer in Scottsdale on 12/18. Almost same build as mine but added factory spray in liner and fx4 and removed bed steps. 2016 Tracking Thread-photo655.jpg

No issues at all so far. Love the truck. Drove it back Monday after running around Pheonix all weekend for my kids hockey games. Radar assist cruise is awesome!

Done so far:
Husky x-acts
Stubby antenna
Bedrug bedmate and tailgate mat
Removed the fx4 stickers
Mounted the radar detector on the rear view
Pro grip phone holder

Waiting on back ordered Icon stage 2
And Fuel Savage wheels / 285/65/20 KO2s

2016 platinum, ruby red, 701a, tech, fx4, bed liner, bed extender,

That's a good question, all I want is a reason why I am waiting so long.

Given Chad's timely inputs on status, I am sure he would provide an answer if he had one. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Well, it's been over a week since my Truck was built and it's still in Dearborn. Is anyone else in the same situation. I'm not complaining given the 10/26 club's issues, just curious to see if we can determine the cause for the delay, especially since there are other trucks (same trim) built the same day which have been delivered.

I thought someone on this thread found out it was a tailgate issue.
