Concerning price changes. I ordered KR on 9/23 with build date of 10/26. No truck delivered yet. Most recent invoice from dealer showed $400 increase from earlier invoice. Items that increased are white platinum paint, KR chrome pkg., max tow pkg., tow mirrors, 601A pkg; for total of $400 . Dealer says Ford will actually reissue new window stickers to reflect increases.

Well I have a funny story for everyone.2016 Lariat Scab 502A Blk, chrome and Tech 3.5EB
Built on 10/30 ETA 11/20 of course a no show and I'm in the club of trucks sitting in Dearborn for what ever reason. I screamed to everyone I could and it still just moved along like everything else. Said it was released on 12/1 waiting to ship, not sure why it would take so long to ship but it finally did on 12/16 got a railcar No. and started to track to Vegas yesterday it was in Battle creek. that afternoon my dealer text me with a pic of a Black F-150 and said your not going to believe this, your truck is here, I'm like WHAT how could that be? He said Ford built 2 identical trucks with the VIN off by one digit. Truck checked out OK, but I lost some money on the trade because of time, miles and the market value. Getting it cleaned up and window tint, tonneau cover bedrug, will post pics when finished

I ordered a vehicle for an exact price, a certain amount under invoice. That is my deal. I am certainly not paying more than that, since my understanding is the dealer pays what they locked in to at order time, even if prices go up after that. But my question is about decreases. If the dealer gets the benefit of the decrease, so should I... if they don't then I should not either... in fairness. I am just trying to find out if the invoice price decreases between order and delivery, does the dealer pay the invoice price at time of order price or invoice price at time of delivery?

I don't think there is a rule regarding what "should" happen in that scenario. Price can be negotiated up until the point that you sign for the vehicle. So, my advice would be: If the invoice price goes up, keep your mouth shut. If the invoice price goes down, ask the dealer to pass the cost reduction along to you, and be willing to walk if it matters that much to you.
