I ordered a '16 Lariat Screw on 12/4. The salesman told me they placed the order before I left the dealership. I called him yesterday and asked him to verify that the truck was ordered and requested a copy of the dealer order acknowledgement and an estimate of when I might receive a VIN#. He said "I'll call you right back". Haven't heard from him yet.
I'm concerned already. I feel like they just want to blow me off now that they have my deposit.
How can I get Chad to help me track this when the time comes?

He gave me a copy of the Preview Order. Is that the same as DORA?
On the bottom it says "This order has not been submitted ot the order bank.
There is a Preview Order #, Order Summary, Dealer name and sales code, my name and Priority code.
My truck is very similar to yours Stan. 157" 2wd screw, 36 gal tank, 3:31 e-locker, 2.7L, spray in liner, ingot silver, 500A package.
I'm moving up from a 2011 scab V8 XLT which I love.
On the bottom it says "This order has not been submitted ot the order bank.
There is a Preview Order #, Order Summary, Dealer name and sales code, my name and Priority code.

THE EAGLE HAS LANDED! Did drive by of dealership tonight on a hunch after a phone call from the GM regarding my Private Cash. It had expired on 11/29 so I had taken it in a week before that and gave them notice to figure it out by the time the truck came in. Salesperson had GM call me to say they tried everything but Ford would not honor, I stated OK I was going to walk away. He called back 10 minutes later that they got it figured out! Should pick up tomorrow, Friday at latest. Been a helluva 3 month roller coaster.
Hang in there rest of 10/26-27 Club, they seem to be rolling in now from all indications here.

My dealer seems to be redeeming him self. He called with a VIN# for me today and is going to work on getting my private cash offer put on hold until delivery. I ordered from the dealer on 12/4.
I told my wife that it's being built in Dearborn and she knows we discussed in past years taking a trip to tour the plant. So she says do you want to take a trip and visit the plant on build day? Might be taking a trip to the plant.

Ok, mines in transit ETA 12/27-12/30, I will sign all my paperwork tomorrow to lock in the $1,500.00 in rebates.
Also, has anyone noticed the 3.5 Ecoboost has decreased in pricing in the Lariats by $600.00, I just noticed when playing around on the build site. So for chuckles I am contacting Ford today to learn my 2016 pricing was $600.00 more. Is this normal that Ford plays with the build pricing?
