Putting together a full review but visiting family this weekend so,it will have to wait until next weekend.

Initial impressions:

Sync 3 awesome
3.5 eb engine awesome
Massaging seats love them
Seat comfort, took 20 min to adjust everything from lumbar to foot pedals but insanely comfortable
Navigation search was awesome, fast and seems to find all addresses even if you abbreviate every thing, etc
Couple snags

Heat on seats not the greatest, looked under seat and I definitely had the snorkel tsb applied
Seems like they cut the sd card slot in center console, only 2 USB ports, would have liked to use it for music
Passenger side rear seat belt is jammed. Needs to be warranty replaced

Have not tried cooling seats as its been below 30F here in Montana.

Most this are subjective, but I came from a 2011 bmw m3 to 2 door Jeep Wrangler to this. Surprised how lux platinum is to the m3. Not quite as much soft touch in the interior but damn close. Really loving it so far but can't wait to see if that changes in a month or 6 months. Never owned a ford unsure of how long the quality will last

Congrats and thanks for sharing. Truck looks identical to what I'm waiting for. Built 10/26. Est delivery is 12/23.

Enjoy the new ride!!

Placed my order on 9/26. 16MY 3.5EB/XLT/Sport/Black/4x4/Crew/5.5'/20" wheels.
I have not received too much feedback from the dealership so I decided to stop in. After some inaudible whispering between salesman in their back office they told me it would be built 1/4/16. I do not have a VIN.

What is a good estimate for build to delivery? I am in Canada. Dealership is about 1 hour from Dearborn. I was kind of sucked into ordering a '16 based on the salesperson telling me 6-8wks for delivery. I doubt this will be met, or even close.

Looks like some folks on here have Lariat Sport build dates on 1/4/16. Does it make sense that XLTs would be running the same day as Lariats?

I have not read about any holds on XLT Sport. Only Lariat Sport. Sounds like the dealer did not order it when they said they did.

I seriously doubt they placed your order at the original time. Maybe there was a miscommunication and it never went in, or who knows. Normal sequence of events is: Order placed, VIN generated 7-10 days later, build date occurs 5-8 days later, then it's just waiting for transport which varies wildly (2-4 weeks).

Ask to see the DORA (Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment) with the date of 9/26 (or shortly after as most dealers only send orders once or twice a week).

There are no delays on XLT sport, unless you got the special edition package. There are plenty of XLT sports hitting lots in my area.

If they're willing to lie to your face about this, what else will the dealer lie about? Take your business to another Ford dealer.

Apologize for my typo above. I ordered 11/26, not 9/26.
I have a copy of the DORA. Order went in 11/30. I also have Priority Code 01.
Does the timing seem right factoring in holiday shut down? I did not get the SE appearance package.

Contact Chad this week. He will probably be able to get you a VIN # by Friday. It's impossible for the dealership to know the build date if they don't have a VIN #.

Thanks for the advice.
I specifically asked for the VIN, so I thought that this seemed a little strange as well.

Seems odd. You should have a VIN by now. I've had mine for a while and I ordered just before you.

There is the 2016 Canadian tracking thread you might want to look at. You can pm Mathieu as he is our Canadian FordServiceca contact.
I ordered 11/21. VIN 12/3. Mathieu gave me mine.
