Hi folks, first post here, long-time reader of this and other forums, having driven a 2011 XLT EB since purchased new. I've been working with my dealer for a few weeks to configure a 2016 order, which I just finalized over the weekend (12/12/15). I'll post back here as the timeline progresses over the coming weeks.

For now, here's the data:

2016 XLT Supercrew, 145"
3.5L Ecoboost
4x4, not FX
302A package w/ nav
max tow (3.55 electronic differential)
tow mirrors
kicker sub-woofer
side steps
tailgate step
bed extension gate

Excluding a moonroof, it's about as configured as possible with a column-mount shifter and no console. I'm planning on an aftermarket spray-in liner and folding hard cover after delivery.

MSRP as configured w/ destination: $51,440
Invoice: $45,550
Dealership manager says final sale price is typically Invoice less ~$500, putting anticipated pricing around $45K minus available incentives after build.

Date submitted to dealer: 12/12/15
estimated 8 weeks

I read this thread start to finish last week before submitting the order, hope it's relatively smooth and doesn't lead to a 12/12 club.

ITS HERE!!!!!! Truck #1 is here so I am taking it!!!! REBATES: SOMEHOW I SCORED THE $1000 COUPON!! I don't have in hand but its showing in Vincent!! WHOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

So the rebates today are this:
Police OR college: $500 (I have both both only 1 counts)
My COUPON!!: $1000
Competitive lease: $500 (I have an Acadia on lease that is due to expire in Feb)
Lariat supercrew ford credit: $500

SO $2500 AND I have a $250 coupon to use their financing........

Bottom line is 1K under invoice and $2750 in rebates!! Not too shabby!!!! PICS TO COME!!!!

 

Hopefully it holds true but it appears it might finally be in transit with an ETA of 12/17-23. Many Thanks to Chad for always being helpful, have pinged him once a week for past 2 months! Encouraging to finally see a reply that didn't start out: Unfortunately...

Did anyone order in November and already receive your truck. How many days did it take from the build date?

 

Finally and unbelievable the rebates you received. Looking fwd to the pics.

 

I'm not sure I would take Ford Financing unless the rebate was $750.
