Other than that i will do a basic lookover for any paint issues i see worth fixing, but mostly fitment of doors, hood, and bed. It is a truck, not too worried but better safe than sorry
Hey Ned -- yeah, I noticed that comment over there about the $$$. My KR was the same price as his Limited. Makes no difference what trim they are, they should be right. His paint spot looked like a fingerprint, like someone touched the bodywork after it was prepped for paint but before paint went on. A big NO NO with paint work. Maybe it got touched up without his knowledge and that was the result. Who knows...

I think my truck will be OK.

I would be quite upset, not sure how much hell I would raise over it though. Depends how obvious. Most likely I would feign anger and hope they offer me a free bedmat or something, secretly happy that I would get that first damage out of the way. Rather be mad at dealership over it than myself/wife/twins/dog.

I continue to be confused what's going on here... @fordservice has not responded to my PM... Dealer says "Oh it could be 2-4 weeks but we don't really know"

If you use Twitter, message @FordService on there. They're typically faster to respond in my experience. They don't start until 11:30am ET.

I wouldn`t stress too much. Mine was ordered Feb 29th. built March 29th, in transit since. I`m expecting delivery (Whitby-Oshawa) sometime this coming week. Dealer called Monday to say truck was transfered to CP rail (In Canada).

Ordered 3/4, built 3/29, Cotus says delivery will be 4/23.

Dealer called today and said it was there! Going tomorrow to pick it up.

got FordService yesterday to look into it - they basically told me what Cotus shows. So no more info, but "Delivered in 1 day" but yet still awaiting shipment. Dealer says "2 to 4 weeks" but I think that's a standard answer. Starting to get mildly annoyed that nobody can tell me ANYTHING. Even if someone were to say "the train leaves Wednesday and it will be on it" - or something, but the answer I get is "Wait more"

If this goes another week the answer to them will be something like "Make a commitment, or I walk" I am ok with waiting - but only if I know when. So they told me 2-4 weeks, I'm not waiting another 4 weeks beyond what was originally committed by the dealer.
