How long are the private cash offers good for from the day you receive them, on average? I am trying to judge when I should start applying for the private cash offer. I have estimated delivery date of 1/28.

Given the inconsistentcy, I would wait until the truck is on the train

I would start now, sometimes it takes weeks to get. My dealer said I will get my offer one way or the other.

What do you mean by "one way or another"? I have private cash but do not anticipate my new truck for another couple of months. Is your dealer able to extend the expiration deadline on your private cash?

Both of mine were good for about three weeks.

One more question. I have signed up on the owner site and put in my VIN. I see the updates and offers for December 2015 section. Where exactly in that area did your offer appear? I would assume it is under the Service coupons and offers section?? Or did it appear as a stand alone thing right under the updates and offer title. Thanks.

I ordered mine 10/27 was built on 12/18, was told truck was in transit , as far as I can tell there is absolutely no concrete system in place to either go on line, or make a phone call to let me know we're the truck is. With all the modern tracking technology that is in use today by Major companies there is no excuse for spending that amount of money that you cannot know a precise update on a daily basis of the status. Ford Customer relations should consider getting in touch with Amazon and see how professional tracking for its customers works.

Did you contact your dealership to see if the truck has a rail car #. Once the truck is "In Transit" it is no longer in the possession of Ford and Ford Customer service is not allowed to give any additional information until it arrives at the dealership. Once you have the railcar #, you can call the train companies phone system to track.
