2016 Tracking Thread
How long are the private cash offers good for from the day you receive them, on average? I am trying to judge when I should start applying for the private cash offer. I have estimated delivery date of 1/28.
Given the inconsistentcy, I would wait until the truck is on the train
I would start now, sometimes it takes weeks to get. My dealer said I will get my offer one way or the other.
What do you mean by "one way or another"? I have private cash but do not anticipate my new truck for another couple of months. Is your dealer able to extend the expiration deadline on your private cash?
When I first started looking I received one via email the first time I requested a brochure (didn't even know it was available). Since I ordered my truck that one expired.
This time after several brochure request I did not receive any notification, I had to log onto http://owner.ford.com/ and under "updates and offers" I found that I had the private cash offer...did the happy dance!
Hope this helps...Good Luck!

One more question. I have signed up on the owner site and put in my VIN. I see the updates and offers for December 2015 section. Where exactly in that area did your offer appear? I would assume it is under the Service coupons and offers section?? Or did it appear as a stand alone thing right under the updates and offer title. Thanks.
Well, it's been over a week since my Truck was built and it's still in Dearborn. Is anyone else in the same situation. I'm not complaining given the 10/26 club's issues, just curious to see if we can determine the cause for the delay, especially since there are other trucks (same trim) built the same day which have been delivered.
I ordered mine 10/27 was built on 12/18, was told truck was in transit , as far as I can tell there is absolutely no concrete system in place to either go on line, or make a phone call to let me know we're the truck is. With all the modern tracking technology that is in use today by Major companies there is no excuse for spending that amount of money that you cannot know a precise update on a daily basis of the status. Ford Customer relations should consider getting in touch with Amazon and see how professional tracking for its customers works.
