I'm planning on the same, not sure if I want to do it though? In the thread that Bob Curry started "What mods/changes have you done to your 2015 or 2016? Has a couple of ideas for you.
Wondering what the the wait time is from receiving the vin number, projected build date and then being able to view the window sticker??

Just ordered a 2016 supercab 6.5 foot box 5.0ltr 3.73 locker FX4, Feb 1 order date, I have researched tracking info and found multiple frustrated people. COTIS doesn't seem to accept my info. anyone had success in tracking their custom orders pre VIN? would be a great feature

Just ordered a 2016 supercab 6.5 foot box 5.0ltr 3.73 locker FX4, Feb 1 order date, I have researched tracking info and found multiple frustrated people. COTIS doesn't seem to accept my info. anyone had success in tracking their custom orders pre VIN? would be a great feature

Ok, So Here's Mine, 2016 Lariat super cab.
1. ordered 11/08/15
3. Build date 12/01/15
3. got vin 12/04/15,
4. Window sticker 12/06/15
5. arrived 1/20/16
Cotus was useless, But my dealer was wonderful with tracking and status.

I hope mine stays on track, ordered 1-27, got my VIN # from Chad (thanks!) 2-2 with a projected build date of 2-16. Am I assuming correctly that the build date is when the truck assembly begins at the plant?

thanks to all who responded, I PM Ford service and await a reply, New truck is an exciting time, retiring my 2004 F150 5.4 231,000 km, also have 2013 Focus with updated clutch that is awesome
