I wouldn't even bother Chad until 4 weeks after order date or 12 November which ever comes later.

Shawnpepera,

Quick question. Do you know what they do when they get the truck in re: detailing. I'm so worried about them scratching it during a car wash etc. Call me crazy. Do they seriously do this? See attached pic. Granted it's for a double cab.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your truck as we all are. Good luck.

Im sure they do... no one wants a dirty truck... BUT.... I will be walking the entire thing and picking things with a fine toothed comb. Just take your time "going over" the truck before you take delivery. If any scratches, etc are present they must fix them!

Thanks... no word yet. I called the dealer and he says the inventory guy is on alert and will call me upon arrival!

From my sales guy:

"Scott,

I just spoke with Justin to update him on what is going on. He checked on it himself and all it says is that it is pending an update and has not been released to move. It is still sitting at the ramp. I apologize that our information is limited. Justin wanted me to let you know he is going to make a phone call to see if he can get any more information for you.

Thank you"

Scott...

Yeah I got that story this week as well. The question I wanted to ask but didn't because I knew I would get a "IDK" was, ok it's sitting on "the ramp" waiting to go out. Are there 5,000 trucks in front of mine waiting to go out and mine is 5,001 or are there 50 and my is 51? i.e. is it reasonable to assume it is going out soon or should i expect it around Christmas...

That was my second story like that this week. He keeps telling me that my ETA is 11/2. Not sure he realized that was 4 days ago.

I agree, just give me an real answer on when (like its next on the train or we are waiting for a part its gonna move your date to next week). I saw a hauler with some F150s heading toward my dealer, so I checked their site. ALL but 1 of the 9 had build dates after mine (all XLTs though).

Compounding the frustration was a flat tire on my 12 this AM. In my head was, "if my truck would have been here on time, this would not be an issue right now"

Did you confirm that it is actually there and you're just awaiting the come pick it up call or are you in the ETA hell crossing your fingers that it arrives as that's the date you were given. I know Scott and I both got ETA's that came and went and went and continue to go by... If it's the latter I'd definitely pick up the phone and pester your sales person to see if it is physically there and they are just prepping it or if it hasn't even shown up yet. I really hope that it is actually there and you're not in the same boat we are.

Well, I have joined your boat (is it the titanic??). Salesman emailed a few times today. Says its "on the truck" but today's delivery can be even into the night or Saturday. So we will see. Not here yet.
