Hey 2100... where did you end up on the Escape?

This was what 4 hours of my day was spent doing.... Took me 2 hours on the first side, the next took me 45, and then the fuel pump took me a bit over an hour.....
The ball joints look way worse than they felt.... I knew one side was ripped, but not the other...

New parts always look so damn good on a repair. Nice and shiny. I like it. I have that to do next week. Going to try out Mevotech heavy duty upper arms. Those are some heavy duty pieces. I don't think a little fender bender would bend those at all. I've asked a number of guys through out the groups about those who tried them. I haven't gotten one bad review yet. I figured why not give them a try. The Moogs' have been questionable at best lately, so I'll be a guinea pig. Once anyways. LOL

These are actually Mevotech OE series. They seem like they are decent quality. I need to get an alignment now though... it runs straight down the road, but the steering wheel sits at a slant. Can't have that noise... lol.

Well thanks for all the help fellas...

No matter, - Loctite rust dissolver was refereed the most, went with it. It worked and did so quickly. Took 3 good 15 minute applications, then a follow up with acetone. Got that damn done just in time. Headers welded, just have to wait for the trans dipstick tube to cure inside the port.

Kids want to use the truck tomorrow in the parade, that's pretty cool...worth asking for a little help anyway, was stuck on this one lol.

Figured I'd show you fellers the overhead view of the racing complex we have. The Raptor school is out in the west desert though, so it's not in this pic. I really hope they put a 1/4 mile track out here because the one in Salt Lake is closing at the end of the 2018 season.
