Welp.... now I've heard it all. Octane runs the fan clutch....
Dontcha know once your belts get squeaky you switch over to diesel and itll quiet them right up... just make sure to pour the DEF straight into the tank after filling. Premium can even make hub bearings quiet down
Some of the stuff on those pages are so silly, yet I go back just for the laughs a lot of time
I went to dig out my 4 wheeler today, and found that my hose from my garden hose has a small hole in it. It's been leaking since the first of May, so you can imagine how wet it got. I almost lost my shoe in the water. Yeah, I turned it off. I guess 12 years is all that I was going to get out of it. I might as well get all new hoses and be done with it. The one on the front is hard as hell, so yeah, new hoses are needed. I'm cheap around the house, but spend money on Red and Sonya all the time. Priority's eh?

Oh Lord, i wonder if he even thought about the blinker fluid? You KNOW what troubles THAT can cause!
Yesterday I watched a 2012-ish GMC Denali with awd and a 2wd F350 try to pull an F-550 rollback out of a ditch it slid into (8" of rain so far this week). When they gave up I decided to give red a shot and after a little tire spinning in 4-low, pulled him out. I honestly didn't think it could do it, but I can say I'm proud of the old girl.
Before we remodeled the building at work, our docks were sloped downward, and the drains were frequently plugged. Lots of ice and snow would accumulate in there. I used to pull UPS, Fedex, and 18 wheelers out of that with my 91 Explorer. I had manual WARN hubs, and a manual t-case, and a manual (M5OD) trans. Also always rocked the BFG AT2 TKO's, and that was a killer combo. It had a reputation, lol. There's a back alley about 3/4 mile down the road, and one of the UPS guys got his truck stuck in a mud hole one day, and he came over and asked for the guy with the Explorer. I pulled that right out.... hell, I even pulled high-centered forklift out when we were under construction.
Damn I miss that thing. Should have never sold it. It wasn't much to look at, but man did it put in some work.....
In the background you can see my parts truck, which I was going to take the motor out of. But after it sat for about 14 months, the head gasket started leaking. So, I scrapped it.
WTH.... LOL. These last two photos were uploaded together, and somehow it put it in a different post? AND, 4 minutes apart..... something strange is afloat.....
Geez.... I sure miss my old vehicles.... I also owned this 98 Mounty with a 5.0, 4R70W, AWD. This thing liked to climb.....
It's a pretty cool thing to surprise someone like that. I really think I want to switch my b2 over to manual everything if/when the newer a4ld bites the dust.

I agree! I have had a couple vehicles now that have had a reputation, lol. That Explorer was definitely one of them.... it was also known as "the stump puller" in the neighborhood. I pulled out tree stumps, rose bushes, even pulled my shed over with it, LOL.
The Stang is my number one car with the reputation though.... I've heard "oh, you're the one that owns that white Mustang"? so many times I cant count. Unfortunately, that reputation was also known among West Valley City police department as well, and anytime a white Mustang would be involved in anything, guess who got blamed?

Haha it sounds like you may have an alter ego running around town in the mustang.
