Which makes it that much more worth fixing

Man, I need to wash the truck. She's been full of salt for going on a week. Roads have been wet and salty for just as long. Front bumper has spot rust all over it...that's going to be chore removing. Have ash tray full of quarters, maybe I hose her off and pick up a couple cans fluid film. They flash rust quickly here if you drive them. Need the Alaskan road commission taking care of our roads....since they now how to do it, -no acid salt there.

Ok guys. I have a question that I know yall can help me with. I put on the K'n elbow yesterday and now im am getting a slight fluctuation in idle. Its not erratic, just a regular bump of about 30 rpms. most people wouldnt notice but I did so here I am. Should I just undo the negative battery cable and allow it to sit overnight? Or am I overlooking something much more simple?

I'm no master mechanic, but I'd start with resetting the computer which I believe you only have to take the battery cable off for an hour or so. Some like to take it off and then turn their headlights on until the system is completely drained. I had to do this bc my truck was running weird when I put a new IAC on it. Cleared it up no problem

I didn't think of the headlight thing. I will give it a go when I get off work today. Thank you.

Last night (it was dark outside) the old F150 just felt a little more peppy than usual, so in my usual form, I gave it the beans a couple of times. One time taking it to 90 mph in a 55. Shortly after I hit 90, a car got behind me and I thought...... those sure do look like new Taurus headlights (UHP is using the Taurus now). I slowed her down because of that, but figured it must have just been a regular car..... next light, right next to me is the car, and you bet your butt, it was UHP. Not sure why he didn't pull me over, but I thank my lucky stars.

Damn truck felt like a race car though.....

Thanks White. I wasn't sure if you kept it or not.

I'm in need of an old clockspring or the two connector ends off an old unit. If anyone has one or access to the ends, let me know if you would. I am in the need to complete my Navigator CS so it fits into my 98's. I also still need the two small plugs for the 97-98 door panels that cover the screws for the door handle. JP had a set and sent them, but the USPS decided they wouldn't go thru the conveyors, so the envelope got here, but no contents.

Thanks guys. If anyone has these or can pick them up, please let me know. Thanks AK.

I'll take a look around and see if I can't grab two more. I just haven't been to a yard recently.
