If it is Purolator, they better be ashamed of that mess.

I will say that the three that I have (FL820, Wix, and Supertech) are all the same length.

Yeah, the sticker is new. IMO, makes it easier to counterfeit with a sticker.

I can get a good pic tonight. The media looks to be the same material. However, different glue used in each end cap. Also, the FL1A has a metal clamp to join the media, and the FL820 is glued. That was not the case in years past. It was also a metal clamp.

EDIT: I am currently trying to find someone at Ford/Motorcraft to listen to my sob story.

==============================

EDIT 2: I talked to someone at Ford. Obviously working from home, as I could hear a child in the background, lol. Anyway, she took all of my info. I asked if I could send pics, as I want Ford to be aware of their supplier issues. There apparently is not a good monitored email address, so she told me to send pics via snail mail to:

Ford Consumer Affairs
P.O. Box 6248
Dearborn, MI 48126

So in your neck of the woods Brewster.

The handle looks awesome! So you bought it red, or did you paint it red too? I'd love to see how it looks installed.
The handle came in the honey-beige color, so I prepped it and reshot it to E4 code paint. Here is a pic of the left side installed. It breaks up the all-red side. I have my factory t/signal mirror back on now, so this just gives you an idea how to break up all that color.

It's the Wife and I's anniversary this Friday, so we're going to go south for a few days. Gonna go check out the piece of land that my parents own and see if it's worth doing anything with (yet).

OK Brew, here you go. I think the media is different too. Definitely a lower quality product now.

And, just showing that it snowed, and luckily it stayed in the mountains.

Looks like Merlin helped out Derek. I saw Derek's post yesterday that a Mustang II that he bought had a 9 inch with some issues, and it looks like Merlin did too.
