Autozone makes you take your container with you. You also have to pour it in their container. Pretty stupid, really. You could be dumping ATF, coolant, p/s fluid.... whatever in their bin, and they wouldn't know.

Very often every store has a sign on the door saying their container is full.

 

All the stores around here were saying full for months.
I ended up running an ad on Facebook marketplace for 10 gallons of good used oil for heating.
I had 3 people respond to the ad, 1sy guy took it all.
Even got his phone # for next time I'm full.

 

That's a good idea.... you may have posted something about that at the time too, because I've had that thought - putting it on FBMP for someone to use.

The salvage yard will always take your oil as well, and your coolant as long as they're not mixed up. They have a landing you climb up on and dump the oil right in their furnace. Little 50 gal barrels for coolant....lots of them lol.

Good morning, all. I thought I'd toss this out for consideration. One of my LED turn signal bulbs bit the dust, and while I was waiting for the new set to arrive, I tossed in the only thing I had on hand: A set of clear 3175's. Now, I have the L headlights, so maybe that's why they looked so good, but if I didn't need to run LED's (incandescents generate housing-melting heat with my DRL's), I'd run those bulbs in a minute. They remind me a bit of the old European "city lights."

I see it now noobs. Wow, a 97 7700 w /dual diaphragm booster. That answers an age old question. 5.4L as well.

Probably means a bit different here that in MI.

I think @Monkeybizness was looking for 7700 parts. It ain't too far from Rockville.

To fix the rust, I could drop my Lariat cab on there but my bed is only 6.5' and that look like an 8'. I would like an 8' bed though.
