Any of you guys receive reimbursement checks from you your insurance providers....just out of the blue. I heard something about this a few months back, didn't give it much attention. Opened the mail a little while ago and there it was. I have to say, it's fairly substantial, they must of made a big mistake. I think I better hang on to it, I guess I have 90 days to do anything with it. I'll fish around a bit, see if it's legit.....and hope it's a happy mistake lol.
I haven't heard about that one, Brew. Auto insurance, I presume? I sure wouldn't mind getting a (legit) check in the mail!
Yea, pretty sure it's auto. Wait, yea it's vehicles, I insure 3 now, 4 within the last year. Their policy numbers are listed at the top....not the travel trailer or the house. Doesn't give much info. No cover letter , it says this on the check stub, quote, -
" The MCCA has a surplus of funds, so they asked insurers to provide refunds to customers. Your refund is based on the number of eligible vehicles insured on your policy on October 31, 2021."
MCCA: Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association.
Guess I should maybe call them..... lol.
EDIT: Sorry guys, - it's legit, unfortunately it looks to be just a Michigan thing. So yea.................HAHA
what can I do to change the OEM stereo and cd player on the 10th gen F150 ?
I notice the CD heats up super hot when playing and when CD is removed it appears very scratched....
The longer the music is played in the CD the hotter it gets and eventually the CD stops playing....
Looks super complicated to remove and change it's well nested in the dash....
What looks super complicated? These trucks are some of the easiest to remove. Just get a Ford stereo removal tool kit, a wiring adapter, and an install kit for whatever style/size deck you choose. Wiring kits are almost always a matter of matching the colors/stripes of the wires and splicing them together.
