I just read the water restrictions for the summer. My county has not made an official announcement yet, but several agencies are saying you can only water your lawn once a week. My lawn is going to die 😞

Oh, cry me a river.
(No, really. Please. I need the water.)

I have a water dish on the porch for Duncan, and a birdbath on the deck. Shhhh. Don't tell anyone.

Didn't you put in a rain barrel set up? Did it help much ?

I did. It's kind of a PITA to use it but it does help. 110 gallons doesn't go as far as you'd think, but they refill pretty quickly if we get rain.

I'm thinking of adding a pump like this one. I'm not sure if it would have enough flow for watering with a hose, or not.

FWIW; For an example, a 20x20 ft area at the oft' times suggested 1" of water per week, is 249 gallons. 748 gal is a typically referenced household water unit and = 748 gal. A home uses 2 to 20 units per month.

Yes, it will get ugly quick. And you invested some cash into a fertilizer plan....I guess that was a waste..Sucks!
