I told Fab Rats recently that they've even passed Vice Grip Garage as my favorite YT channel. While I was doing my exhaust last weekend, I kept wishing I had his exhaust bender, LOL.
BTW, I got the Motive pressure bleeder yesterday. Had to make sure it fit the Mustangs.... and it does. The F150 uses the same cap, I know that for sure. Not so certain on the Escape's though. Now I need to buy a bunch of brake fluid, lol.
Only thing I don't like about that bender, -it's not a mandrel bender. For exhaust, that would be choice.
I didn't "bench bleed" Frankie's master when I put it in. I think it has some air in there somewhere. I talked to a guy in the local Fox group, and he experienced a similar issue putting Baer brakes on his. He got it all out with this bleeder.
Like Ohio mentioned on vacuum bleeder.... they suck. I've had the shiddiest luck with vacuum bleeders. I also have a reverse bleeder that I hate. So... I'm giving this a whirl, lol.
AFAIK, masters have to be bench bled. I've never attempted skipping that step. That could be the problem.
Good luck with it. Yea, I'm curious how well it's going to work.
Well... here's how that went. I had the motor ready to go back in when I realized I hadn't replaced the master yet. So, I threw it in and then it was one of those "wait, I forgot to bench bleed that" after I had bled the rest of the system. So, I went with it. It stops OK... but it pulls to the right a bit, and the pedal is slightly mushy.
Not sure if this is a Utah thing or not.... but we have these little soda fountain shops that've popped up all over the place. Well... I got a Diet Dr. Pepper with cream and raspberry a couple weeks ago, and now I'm hooked. LOL.
It's supposed to start snowing here anytime now, and continue through the morning. I'm supposed to drive through Sardine Canyon tomorrow to get to a wedding. The canyon is notorious for bad accidents in weather.
Welp... typing all of that ^^^ made me check the weather up there. It is snowing right now.
JP, the main chain that is here is called "Swig". I know it started in UT, but it may be elsewhere now. There are copy cats called "Guzzle" and "Fiiz", which is pronounced Fizz.
