I have at least one dead lifter right now with my current long block. So those will all be changed when I go in to change the valve cover gaskets. I did manage to grenade one back in high-school but I was honestly not nice to it at all. Lol

My first 91 Explorer had a collapsed lifter when I bought it.... and it had the exact same one when I sold it. It never bothered me enough to replace it.

Efarmer, no - he said that he would be "unplugged" for a while. Hope he checks in again soon.
Just came out of the mountains to renew my car insurance again. Time flies. Sitting in the Carlsbad library for this but I'm guessing I'll be on my way back in to the mountains by the time anyone sees this. Hope all is well with everyone and the holidays went well. Myself, didn't miss the holidays by missing them one bit and having a great time. Much more to say but I'm sure no one wants to read a travelog--right AK?

Brew and others interested. There are some serious off road vehicles here. Hill climbing and rock climbing are a hoot to watch.

White, met a guy from Oregon recently who spent a good hour complaining about the driving in SLC. Made me think of what you would say when the snow started falling and the idiot drivers. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Hey Rivers, nice to see and hear from you!!!

I don't know if you read a few pages back, but I was just saying that I need to make a video out of all of my dashcam experiences. I had a guy nearly clip me yesterday morning. Almost had a head on Saturday evening.... and none of that is in snow.

I don't know if you guys caught todays episode of MORR, but Lizzy straight said "I don't know how to drive in snow". That is sooooo true for about 75% of this state. I feel like I have an advantage after driving a Mustang in snow for 10 years. Donuts, sliding, purposely trying to get stuck and getting out... all of that makes you a better driver. We've got buttholes calling the cops on kids doing donuts in empty parking lots. This is why we can't have nice things. LOL.

Had to come back to the library and photo copy and email my medi-care cards and VA card to the insurance company. Que Sera!

Good to hear from you JP. Hope all is well with your wife now? Did you ever figure everything out about the 2nd SAS Fairbairn Sykes?

I am currently watching the first ever live stream for MORR. They are manually changing the tires on Rudy's "1/2 Dun" XJ from 38's to 40's.

Someone just asked Ed how old he is. It said "84 and almost a half".

EDIT: Matt just said this is the day he met Paul... so, getting knocked out created a great friendship, lol.

Man things have been rough as hell this past year. The parts you know were just the beginning. I'm not sure if I'll ever know everything about it but I absolutely appreciate the history behind it. I'm so glad to hear you are doing well my friend.
