Mornin' guys. I picked up that B&M today. Guess what? It has the Hurst handle on it that I've been trying to locate for several years now. The Hurst in my 89 was sold as a base only, and you had to buy your preference of handle separately. As I recall, it was a Saleen only setup, and in 95-96ish they stopped selling them because the T5 was gone. So... I'll probably stick the handle in The Eight Nine, and use the base with my modified stock handle in Frankus.

Nice find, White. I had a Hurst shifter in my '87. I don't recall having to buy it in pieces, but I do remember I installed the stock ball on it. That was.... longer ago than I think. Dammit! I don't like that math!

AFAIK, mine is a Saleen specific shifter. It does not have adjustable stops in it. The stops are part of the base. I wish I could find another one.

So maybe a dumb question but I dont want to put parts on my truck if they arent the proper ones. Having a bear of a time finding the nuts that retain the yokes on the NP205. Only place I found that even sells them is quad4x4 and they want $20 PER NUT! Thats crazy... now some say the Dana 35 pinion nut will work. Does the design of the nut really matter in this case? Can I use the two interchangeably without issue? First pic is the proper nut second pic is the dana 35 pinion nut. Both should be 7/8-20 thread pitch. The OEM nut is a 1 5/16" socket and the second one is a 7/8'" socket if I recall correctly,

Don't show previews of what? YouTube videos always will, but other links typically don't. (I've noticed that Amazon links default to the Amazon "A.")
