Dang near got into a fight today... We went to the Renaissance Festival this morning. Some dude was standing up in front of everyone that was sitting down for jousting. Several people were asking him to sit down, and he just stood there. So my friends Wife said "people are asking you to sit down so we can see". He lipped off some crap to her, and next thing I know my Buddy's in his face. He pushed my Buddy, who was in the military. Bad move. That dude was quickly standing 5 feet back. I ran over and broke it up and started to walk away, and this dude's still lipping off at us... I turned around and told him to shut his damn mouth before it's bleeding... then he says he doesn't want to fight, blah blah. And that was the end of it. Funny thing was, all of his friends kind of walked away from him. My Buddy apologized to the people around us, and they all said "don't worry about it, we're on YOUR side".

Brew, that looks like you have a hill to climb there. But, I'm confident you'll make it work. Mine has that thick as hell bed liner in it, and I have the shell. So my bed is only rusted around the bottom panels. I really want to try and get some of that patched up before winter.... but - Frankie first! LOL.

S'why some places you go, you gotta be pack'in a squirt gun.... filled with... sump'thin... A backup filled with vodka can be a real stinger if the first does not provide putdown.

Did a parts scrap the other day. Cut our aged inventory from roughly 5.5 % to 4.7% I am very pleased with that

Nice. I found a few of those bright red magic mushrooms in the Gulches yesterday. One was 6" across!

It's just a couple pieces of metal and a little drilling. This was also done in the old days with some trucks that carried a camper on top of the bed.

Notice that bed bolt with the torx socket in it ? It's solid for about 6" towards the corner which is where I'll install the second bed bolt. I'm using 1/4" plate...that should hold up the corner just fine. At least I hope so! Then plan to to run a second piece up the tail light box. L- brace of sorts. Weld that in and then a gusset. No welding to the truck.....bolted using stainless, zinc heavy fasteners, #8, #10 (hardness) w/nylocks and pinch nuts. Hopefully that will hold it together for a while longer.

The lower panels aren't bad white, did those about 12 years ago. They rotted out again lol. Those will go quick for yuh if you replace the panel from the body line down. Panel clamps help a lot.
