I think you are right w the s/sleeve, but hopefully it will clean up enough and not tear the new seal. Lots of grease to protect it, lol.

Welp I think it's Speedi sleeve time. Only problem is most people get the .500" wide sleeve when I researched Dana 60s but my full surface is .821. I'd think I want the .781 sleeve no? Diameter is 2.5" on the nose.

And see Ohio it was great advice! Lol

Well I missed you and aks last posts somehow lol. I think it'll clean up nice, I mean as it is it's smooth. But My concern is the dips allow the fluid to go under the seal and leak out. I'd rather not pay $70+ for two sleeves but I also don't want to tear back into this axle in a few months.

Put bearing tack under the Speedi Sleeve. It'll seal it.
