I freaking hate taking $4it to people... it's a serious blow to my ego. Feel like my man card needs pulled.

EDIT: It's getting a new bung. He just told me that is the first one he ever had defeat him. That mother was in there pretty good. Believe it or not, this guy is the only shop that does exhaust on this side of the mountain. Kinda weird...
Yep, you were forewarned that might happen, 3 or 4 weeks back I think... well kind of, -post #19566, -

At least I'm not the only one. I held onto the man card and cursed my way through it lol. But yea, the factory original Y and O2 bungs are 400 series stainless. Yea , I tore the bung threads up, there were some fairly large chunks missing. I've never seen a stainless steel bung do that before ..anywhere. Well, I didn't have replacement bungs on hand, didn't feel like going anywhere for some, - was going to order some that night. I had some dirty 6011 in the arsenal, used that as a filler for missing threads. That part went pretty quick..... mostly due to the Y being on the bench now, - after a slightly psychotic episodle with sawzall. Attitude tweaked back to the green, - smooth to finish after that. But yea, all that just O2's.

I had forgotten about that post, Brew. Thanks for jogging my memory. The drivers side came out like nothing. The passenger side was a fighter. The guy apologized to me a few times... he told me when I called that it'd be pretty quick (which I doubted). Honestly, I would have felt worse if he zipped it right out. He welded a larger nut on it, and then it eventually sheared off right at the top of the bung.

All in all, my torn rotator cuff was getting very aggravated so I called it. I've really put my rotator cuff through the wringer this summer. Doing work above my head makes my pinky and ring finger lose all feeling - I'm sure AK can relate. I can tell you that I need to throw my damn Lisle O2 socket directly into the garbage. What a pile of crap. Probably the only thing from Lisle that I've hated. That jackass socket was responsible for rounding off the head a bit.

Watched Matt's Recovery pull the Suzuki.
I have one question.
Why? For the adventure?

They did so much damage pulling it out. Now that will need to replace everything.
Much banana damage also.

They'll fix it... well, Paul will fix it. He'll get it going for Ed.

I'm going to go watch Paul's FJ vid now.

They will need another complete Jimny for parts.
Nothing underneath that one is going to be alright.
Maybe going to upgrade it?

Paul won't make it stock. IMO, it'll be beefy parts, all custom.

Just started watching part 2. Why did they shoe horn Norm into that thing ? That seat has Lizzy written all over it... Oh wait, he won the dent contest didn't he...that's why he's being punished lol. Okay, now it makes sense, now it's funny. Norms going to end up looking like he suffered a vicious ball peen hammer attack or something...... -pinballing around in that sardine can lol.

The look on Lizzy's face when it came up was 100% she ain't getting in there.
Like she would rather be in the lake or something.
