Thinking
AK,
I have a question. Are the homes in the background of the truck pick built in AK or are they shipped from say Oregon?
I just can't imagine shipping would be economical with what I imagine the shipping would cost if they were shipped from the contiguous states.

Even the Mustang is getting reset this year. Pulling the CAI off and going to the stock air system. I like the shifting better with the factory tune and not the 91 octane one that I used. I don't need those extra 25hp (lol more like 10hp) this was to add. Guess I'm moving to the 3.50 gas pricing world. LOL
Man... that would sell QUICK in UT right now. You should see the dealer parking lots right now. The dealer by me is probably only at 20% capacity (that's an uneducated guess). A friend of a friend just got 40K for his trade in on a 2017 GT. That's how bad they are hurting for cars.
I woke up early to start working on Frankie. About 10 minutes later I got a call to go in to work. So, just got home.... and now it's hot again. I guess I need to man up and get out there.... it won't fix itself.
I don't haul much, but I do tow my boat. Blue has been great. Red has a new engine, reman e40d and 9.75 and discs with LS rear. I built red the way I would like for what I need and it's like a new truck. Blue is all original. I even put back on the factory fan and took out the electric fans. They will go on Red this fall. You would never know they were on there if I didn't tell you they were on there before. That Taurus fan set up really worked well in blue.

Everyone I know that has done the Taurus fan swap has been very pleased. I've looked for one the past few times I've been to the yard... but the only the 2000-up is there. I think I'm going to abort my Fusion fan plan for Frankie. I want to either get a brand new Taurus fan, or just use this Cougar/T-Bird fan on it.
Went to start on the fuel pump on Frankie, and I remembered that I saw a bit of brake fluid under Frankie's drivers rear. Pulled off the drum to find the spring was rubbing the rubber end seal (or whatever you call it) and had tweaked it just a bit to make it leak. I don't like aftermarket spring kits... the springs just aren't as good of a fit as Motorcraft. Had to bend the spring to make it work. I just need it to hold up for a little longer, and then I plan on doing disc brakes on it (probably Explorer).

I had the Taurus fans for awhile, that's all I had, no controller. Never installed them, tossed the dang things cleaning out the garage back in sometime in 2014 when I moved. It was one of those things I regretted throwing out after awhile..
Happy Fathers Day, fellers.
I'm just sitting here thinking that maybe I should have put on sun screen yesterday at the car show. Six hours in the sun at 99 degrees was a little much, lol. It was so hot that my black shoes would start burning my feet if I stopped for very long.
