There's nurses and medical professionals who take 5000 i.u. daily of vit d for years and they were exposed to covid and never caught it.
You need 2500-3000 iu. daily to just cover the body's basic daily requirement.
I take 2800 iu per day with the supplements I take.

Zinc is good too.

It really wasn't fun at all. I stayed in the same bed as her when she caught it the first time and somehow never tested positive or had any symptoms.

Good morning thinkers!- hope you fellers had a good weekend- The ponies look good, White!
I like the blue jean blue, and magnetic metallic on new blue- i would look good on frankie, i think.- speaking of cheap paint- when my oldest wrecked his Topaz, he wanted to change colors- we went to Farm and Fleet, bought a quart of Ford blue, black, and International red, I mixed up a nice dark blue, dumped in some gloss hardener, reducer, and repainted the old girl!
it didnt come out too bad, i shot it on like the old DuPont Dulux- he was happy his car wasnt powder blue anymore!
Coffee cup is empty, back to the drag- ttyl!

Yesterday I finally got around to doing the zip-tie mod/fix. HOLY CRAP what a difference! I always felt like my 2002 5.4l was down on power compared to the 2000 5.4l in my previous F150. The 2000 felt significantly more powerful at least until I replaced the leaking intake manifold with a Dorman POS. I changed the plugs cleaned the MAF and the TB etc.and even through a new set of injectors at it that I got a good deal on. While it ran well, it just didn't have that much power. Well I was under the dash tightening up the infamous shifter screws when I checked the throttle cable. It had about 1/2 - 9/16th" of slack in it so slapped a couple zip-ties on it to see if made any difference. I expected maybe I would get a bit more when floored but it seems more like a swapped in a bigger engine. There is more power everywhere and when floored, it's a different truck now. I realize that at less than full throttle it is the same as just pressing harder but it really FEELS like more than that. I haven't even removed all the slack yet, just put those on to see if there was any validity to this and wow, there sure is!

I'm at 50 ng/ml now. Hoping to hit 80 ng/ml by early fall. My lab has 100 ng/ml as max end of range.
If I can hit 80 ng/ml by fall or what not...I can cruise at that level with 3-4 K vit d a day.
All the people I personally knew who were hit hard by Covid had Low Vitamin D.
I'm going to stick with what my doctor told me.

I don't know what I'd do in this situation... I'd like to think I'd jump in there. But I don't know.
