Thinking
Well, I'm up at 3 AM after Duncan woke me up whining. Good thing I listened, because the walnut cat litter he decided to dine on last evening had an effect on his constitutional timing. All's good after a walk around the field, and now he thinks it's "tug time." For more excitement, my wife informs me, upon coming back to the house, that one of the kitten-cats had been out on our raised deck since before I went to bed, and I opened the door for four seconds to grab my jeans that had been drying out there.

I'm going back to bed, now.
P. S. AK - Any bites on Blue? It would sell in a hot minute out here.

Damn Ryobi power washer took a hud on me last night. No water would come out of it. I took it apart, and didn't see anything that looked obviously wrong with it. Changed the gear oil in it since I was in the neighborhood.... then I put it back together (did not think this would fix it). I tried to start it up, and it keeps popping the built in breaker. I don't know if a wire fell off while I was putting it back together, or what the heck... but I'm sad.
However, I was able to get water through it by just the hose pressure, which it did not before I took it apart.

My fine and wonderful spouse will use the pressure washer and not run clean water after use nor sometimes clean it at all.
It is hard to believe how little corrosion or dirt in the nozzle will stop the water even under all that pressure.
She washed the house with some heavy duty, bleachy, soapy stuff and didn't clean it. I later tried to use it to wash something.
No water until I changed the nozzle. Then I could drown frogs with all the water I had.
Looked at the nozzle I removed, the corrosion and hardened cleaner had completely closed the nozzle.
I wonder if the unit has some flow switch that won't engage the pump unless there is low pressure flow first?

I use the little the little electric 99 dollar Ryobi the most, it's handle small and light. I like that little thing. It's only it's 3rd year, no problems yet , but I'm pretty much the only one that uses it. I've set it up for the GF to use, I put it away tho. I drain it, no flushing required. I use a foam gun with it, but that's separate. It works sort of like a HVLP gun. One the best add-ons for a pressure washer imo. I Like that I can use the concrete broom with it, perfect for an undercarriage washes...just flip it over and wheel it under the vehicle. It's a beast of a broom, 6 nozzles purchased for my other, - big Honda 13 horse Porter Cable w/Cat Pump for concrete cleaning. Yea, the broom isn't rated for that little Ryobi, but that little sucker puts out just the right pressure to 6 40 degree broom nozzles making the job quick and easy. Thought I would need to plug every other nozzle for that Ryobi to run it....nope.
So, had good luck with the mine thus far. Knock on wood!
Post up when you locate the problem white, - it will more than likley be a future fix for me as well. - Hopefully it's fixable vs disposable...good luck with it!
What's a hud? Huge Dump lol

I was looking at the little 99 dollar Ryobi. As much as I (don't) use a pressure washer, it might just do the trick.

.) Hope you fellers have a good day!
