Well if you have anything to do with the repair suggestions, it'll probably be broke forever.

There are different types of sensors that produce continuous analog output signal and these sensors are analog sensors. This continuous output signal produced by the analog sensors is proportional to the measurand.

The crankshaft sensor on these motors is a analog variable reluctant sensor.

Measurand: A quantity or object being measured.

"To be measured" is proper syntax for no specific or an undefined object for the subject. Hence "If the object or quantity to be measured. . ."

How did we ever measure anything with the old, analog sine wave oscilloscope if its signal is nothing but an irrelevant signal needing digital processing to be a useful measurement? There was no digital processing.

Definitely done now. Troll on pal.

uhm when I hit measure button on my scope two cursors come up for measurement of time. A sine wave isn’t a measurement either. It’s a SINE WAVE. A periodic oscillation TO BE MEASURED. Good God please do not mess with electronics.

Now we all know how they work and this part of the thread is no longer necessary.
I agree. The only problem is one guy can't wrap his head around what the CS sensor really does and how it works. For a guy 44 years of age, he's like a spoiled child. Name calling won't get you any friends or respect on this site. This is not Facebook. You will get called out here for wrong information, And sir, you have been evidently been called out if you look at the posts.
