Thinking
Just watched your movie, liked it as well...5 stars. Heck, it had 30 views already!
Man that winch worked perfectly, much better then the 150 tugging on it would off. Missed what you did with the frame box on both sides, that one side was fairly messed up. I was curious to see how you straightened those out. Yea the smashed frame ends and support could of been more of a challenge for some....piece of cake right. That was very cool of your neighbor, I want winch now! I can't recall who makes that versatile type winch with hooks on both ends. Seen one of those in action loading a vehicle on trailer once. The winch I've seen was small and light but it had a lot of power and faster than most. I think it had a coup;le speeds. That's the type I would be after. I would of had to resort to one or two come a longs, - unless I felt like springing for a new tool (winch). I'm a believer in awarding yourself at least one new tool per job lol.
The success at the junkyard was cool. Things went pretty smooth, - and insurance would of total it. What a waste that would of been!
Anyway, looks perfect , great job ! Hope you can work out the air bags situation there and call it done.
Btw, like the Cuckoo clock, that was a good add in lol.

Still working on the frame box.... those should be in an upcoming video. Those are pretty easy to get to.... still debating on cutting some at the yard or making a "boot" to go over the top. I tried heating them and bending them back in to shape, but it wasn't working.
Good morning thinkers!- hope you had a great weekend!- started cleaning out the barn on the property- try to get it ready for market.
Took the new blue to the capital city, the Mrs. wanted to shop a bit- New blue run out well for us. ( although i do believe the ‘03 rode a bit smoother)
Great job on the little Ferd, White- its coming around nicely!
Have a great day fellers!

His winch is a Warn. Not too sure if it has different speeds... didn't think to ask, but I will. He left town yesterday, so I'll message him. I thought about a couple come alongs too... that's one thing I don't have in my arsenal yet. coming off those hooks on the F150 probably would have worked sweet there, lol. LOL.... that cuckoo clock was covering up some swear words. The impact completely dismantled the internals inside that headlight. Kind of weird... didn't expect that.

I'd still go with a pinch plate to slip fit the bent section, - welded to a stick of scheduled 40, like I mentioned a while go. That would bend it back, w/o heat. But if you don't have any scrap laying around to weld together, it may not be worth it. Yea, I think that can be bent back with a quickly fabbed pinch plate...your handy with a welder right ?
Good luck with it, so far so good ehh.

Meh.... I'm "OK", lol. I do my best work with my Dad's Lincoln. I just got one of the little 125A Titanium MIG's from HF though. Probably give that a whirl... I watched a lot of reviews on it, and it's pretty well liked.
