Well ****, that sucks. I was an inside track member all of last year.... the Wife signed me up for Christmas in 2019, then the year kinda went to hell on us. So I used it exactly zero times. Closest HF to me it about 40 miles right now, but there will be one about 1.5 miles pretty soon. They were putting the roof on yesterday.

EDIT: Even closer than I thought, lol. I did "directions" to the store next door.

Post *****, back again....

I wouldn't assume any of you would have any experience with these, but the reviews make me think I'll be alright?

Amazon Amazon

Also... had someone contact me about fixing their vehicle last night. They think the trans is going out (Honda), but their description makes me think it has a misfire or EGR issue. Maybe a plugged cat even. My friend also called me about doing a vid on his brand new SD (work truck), but I'm not too sure about the idea because the truck belongs to the state. However, he needs it to go to high idle, much like a tow truck would use, and he has figured out how to do it. Asked if I want to do a vid on it.... hmmm...

Good morning, Bear. I hope your weekend is good, and hope you get on top of your issues at work, my friend!

Good morning Bear and all. Should be in the shower, but enjoying lap time with Duncan *not* trying to bite off my hands for a change! 22 pounds of pup now!

Is this that big of a problem in Utah?

Has the legislature looked around the world and seen how these worked out?

Only read the headline (I'm about to start my weekend).... but I am vaguely familiar with what is going on. A couple years ago I would have said no, it's not a big problem. Now that there are more phones in the hands of kids in school, it has become an issue. My oldest says it is rampant in her high school, and kids are acting out on some of the stuff they are watching. Whether or not that's just UT, I doubt it. But UT has been on the forefront of trying to tame it. It's now a little different than your Buddy having a Playboy in his locker. Of course, I am a Dad of all daughters, so my perspective may admittedly be a little more skewed than some.

I mean.... we aren't that far removed from the Tide Pod problems.

I just see stories where someone wants to ban something and wonder if they ever looked at the results others have had with doing that.
Like the UK **** ban that took like 10 seconds to get around by using a free German (or anywhere else) VPN.
Or Iran cutting off their internet from other countries during their protests and seeming to forget satellite internet exists.

Not saying there is a problem or not. It just seems that banning things never work out as promised.

Like that time alcohol was unconstitutional, didn't stop drinking, just created another procedure to do so.

Build a taller fence, and they'll build a bigger ladder.

I'm not saying you're wrong, because you're not. But you asked if it was a problem here. Probably not much different than anywhere else.
