Probably...that whole situation was kind of strange to begin with. I guess we'll never actually know why he called you that lol.

I must have misspelled stethoscope in my reply to him. Spellcheck changed the word and I didn't catch it.

Well, I guess that word works too lol

Damn it... I really love this laptop, but it's getting to where some of these videos are taking too long to make. The old i5 is struggling.

I recall a G5 and Final Cut Pro use to be cats **** when it came to that. That was quite awhile ago tho lol. I'm sure the PC's have the power and software now.

Probably, but there are some really decent programs for a PC now. And Adobe Premiere Pro is probably the cats azz now. It's part of Creative Cloud, so it doesn't really matter what you're using. I might eventually get to that point, but it's about $55 a month last time I looked. I hate recurring payments for software. I'd rather ante up on my hardware and pay a one time license.

Unfortunately, I see this trend constantly where vendors are switching to monthly fees. People and companies have been riding out on old platforms for so long that they need to generate a more consistent revenue. I wouldn't be surprised if Windows is a month to month some day.

Umm. MS, G, A, all are selling on a monthly subscription now. You just don't pay the bill. The people buying the "anonymized" data are paying the bills now.
If you want to keep your data you better look at L and pay much attention to the programs you install.

I'm so boring I just us 10. I figure my data just puts the buyers to sleep anyway.

I know what you mean, noobs. I see this much deeper though. I put in PO's for thousands of dollars per month for support and service fees, and it's slowly going to transfer to the consumer side.
