LOL.... my friend tried to get me to LS swap Frankie. He just LS swapped his square body.... I told him hell no, I'm not bastardizing a Ford.

Rivers, I hadn't thought about the water weight being used for something like balancing. That's interesting. I know that water, for only sitting for two days, smelled awful. The Wife told me that when she pulled the clothes out of the Samsung, they felt like they were pretty dry in comparison to the Whirlypool after a load.

Brew.... I'll see if I can get a guy at work to make me some Samsung logos, LOL.

White, also from the internet, run an empty wash with dish detergent for that musty smell. It does alright. Don't add too much. With constant agitation it bubbles up, a lot.

No agitator on that one.... but I could care less now. It's sitting in the driveway in front of the F150 now.

Performance

Despite the potential risk in damaging clothes, top load washers with agitators provide a better cleaning performance. Whereas, top load washers with no agitator may be more gentle to clothes, they really aren't as effective at cleaning clothes compared to top load washers with an agitator.

Front loading Samsung here and I hate it. Doesn't clean well and everything is stuck to the back when the load is done. The door is about a foot off the ground so I use long bar-b-q tongs to get the clothes out. Without a working left hip it sucks. Lowes still carries 29 machines with an agitator. I've looked in to it. One of these days I'm going to get fed up and go get one.

I thought so too, but last night HD had floor models with agitators in them. I didn't know that was still an option.

Rivers, I had to talk my Wife out of a front load washer. Luckily, they didn't have the one she wanted in stock - that really aided my cause, LOL.

To me, that's about the dumbest idea on the planet. Just asking for leakage.

EDIT: On the subject of agitators, I don't see any difference other than I never had to untangle anything from the last washer. It's just as clean as the other clothes to me. And I put a lot of grease in there, lol.

I thought they quit making them, they are very hard on your cloths. Perhaps they found away around that ? I don't know, we have a top load, no agitator. Cloths come out great, if I don't wash them.....I'm not aloud to wash cloths anymore. I think I dry them wrong or something..iduno...she can do it lol.

The new one doesn't look too complicated white. Simple looking, I bet basic instructions are under the lid lol.
