Yea, but it's like this, his talents lie elsewhere. He's good to my daughter, my grandsons and as of recently, a good provider. He also laughs when teased and endures my sense of humor, -he's way too easy. He has already proved himself to me, so he lives lol.

There's a lot of worse things a person can be other than mechanically deficient....I guess.

Well, that's better than being a fantastic mechanic and treating your daughter and grandkids like crap. Not all of us can be the whole package, LOL. J/K

For sure.

Reminds me of an incident back before camera phones, My buddy's little brother and his friend were filling the rear axle and it was taking to long.
So they had the brilliant idea to thread an air fitting into the bottom of the gear oil bottle, and pressurize it with air from the compressor
They said it was working really good..... until the bottle seam split and covered them in gear oil.
We heard the pop and came in the garage just in time to see them crawl out covered in gear oil.
We laughed so hard we were practically crying......

LOL- The weather sure did suck for gear oil today, I didn't bother getting every last bit out of the bottles. It got it's modifier tho lol.

I didn't start sweating until torquing the lug nuts. 10 in a row was a bit much for me today. Older you get the harder it is to get anything done in that stuff.....sticky earlier today.

Bet if I installed an air fitting, I could of gotten every last drop out of those bottles lol.

BTW white, I topped it off with that case of Valvoline. Remember, that stuff I said I'd never use again ?

It was 6 bucks a quart about a year ago. It's 10 bucks now.

About 20 a quart for Mobile 1 and Motorcraft. Well, I think Mobile One was a little cheaper than the Motorcraft.

I do remember that....

That's what I put in mine the last 3 or 4 times. It smells as bad as the rest of it, LOL.

Awhile back I posted up the "can't refuse any longer" price on a Daytona floor jack, and decided to get the cross bar, some jack-stand pads, and a couple other odds and ends, too. The nearest Harbor Freight is in the Springs, and in a part of town I rarely have reason to visit. "I'm not in a big rush, and I'll save $6 on tax, so I'll just order everything online." One item was shipped and received (FedEx left the box *outside* the gate, I didn't know it was there, and it got soaked by rain overnight). Two weeks later (today), I get shipment notification for the bulk of the order. Since ordering, I've been past both HF's in town at least twice. I won't make *that* mistake again.

Sooo, you didn't get notified for a shipment sitting outside your gate until two weeks later ? Is that what your saying ? Or partial order?

And it got wet, all to save sales tax, - 6 bucks. Funny lol. Right, -should of just stopped in...less hassle.

They are RIDICULOUSLY S L O W when I've had them ship items to me. I called and they blamed it on COVID. But it seriously took about 2 weeks to ship my jack too.
