Someone posted the rock auto link to this the other day so I ordered one. I haven't used my CDRom drive in so long it sounded like a Dinosaur roaring when the tray opened.
EDIT: I forgot to say that ever since I changed the EGR and 4x4 solenoid, the idle has be perfect. It used to kind of hunt once in a while, especially if the compressor was cycling but now it's rock solid.

I didn't know those were available legitimately. What was the price?
(This reminds me, I should burn some .iso files from my discs in case the media ever goes TU. I also need to be sure to keep a 32-bit machine around because a couple of them won't run on a 64-bit OS.)
Glad your fixes were the fixes that fixed it.

That's why I kept my old Dell 1525 32 bit w/Vista. Ford service DVD's won't run on a 64. DVD's are old and scratched to hell, but that old DELL doesn't have a problem with them. Keep that thing stashed and out of site
Yes they are fully licensed. The jewel case even has a ford hologram seal. Rock Auto under literature. $27 after tax and shipping. It consists of two pdf files vol. 1 & 2.
I run Linux so I just ignored the “os requirements”. Every OS has a program for reading and editing PDF’s.
Got it. Yeah, PDF's are easy to deal with. These are Ford service CDS's (well, eBay-bought discs) from 15 years or so ago, probably the same as what Brew is referring to. The navigation on these is pretty slick compared to searching through a document. Hopefully what you have, though, is well indexed and bookmarked..

For the last couple weeks, my internet had seemed sluggish, so at the end of last week, I finally took time to do some troubleshooting. Downloads were crawling along at between 2Mbps and 5 Mbps, and sometimes even less. I unplugged, re-plugged, speed-tested, etc., and called CenturyLink on Friday. Tech support checked a few things out and said "it's your modem," and it needed to be replaced. They told me there were two options: 1) I could buy a new one for $200, or 2) I could lease one for $15 per month. I told them there was a third option. "Oh? What's that?" they asked. "I can cancel my service and find a different provider," said I. "Let me connect you with customer service to see if there's something they can do for you, Sir. One moment, please."
The CSR I got must have been hired on that morning, because I stayed on hold forever a couple of times while he "checked something out." The last time, I was on hold for about 25 minutes when I finally had to hang up for a business call. I rang back later, and got someone else who knew much more what he was talking about, and long story short, he arranged a credit to offset the modem price, and had one shipped out. It arrived yesterday. Of course, last evening my speed was around 15Mbps, and right now, it's setting at the advertised 20. (Yeah, living in the mountains has its sacrifices.) I tried connecting and configuring the new modem a short while ago, but no joy, and of course, their "offices are now closed." I think they have to release the present one and "allow" the new modem's Mac address, and if something goes haywire with the new config, , I'll have to call *again*: to reinstall the old modem. I thinking the new one might just go back in the box and into the closet until I really need it.
I am about ready to love on from Verizon 5G. It's good when it's non peak times, but most of the time the speed "burst" ramps too slow, and causing streaming issues.

It sounds like "wireless DSL" problems, having to share bandwidth with all the neighbors.
I've had my new Moto Edge Plus for a few weeks, and so far, I'm underwhelmed. 4G is faster in most areas here.
